Important information You have 180 minutes to solve the practical exercises. Devices allowed for the exam: computer assigned to the student, paper, pen, pencil, ruler, sealed notepaper. You can take notes on the internal sides of the exercise sheet and the notepaper, these should be submitted at the end of the exam but their content will not be evaluated. The exercises can be solved in any order. Please pay attention to frequent saving (every 10 minutes) and it is strongly suggested that you save your work every time you start a new exercise. You should save your exam work in the exam directory that corresponds to the identifier found on the exercise sheet. Check that the directory corresponding to the code found on the exercise sheet is accessible; if it is not accessible, notify the supervising teacher at the beginning of the exam. Save your work in the exam directory and at the end of the exam check that every solution is in the given directory because only those solutions can be evaluated. The source files can be found in the exam directory. It is suggested that your read through the exercises first, then solve the individual exercises one by one. If your computer has technical problems, indicate it to the supervising teacher. The fact of indication and the observed problem will be recorded. The lost time will be added to the duration of the exam. If the problem is not of computer nature, the correcting teacher should take the description of the case in the record into consideration. (The system administrator can not help the candidate with the solution of the exercises.) At the end of the exam you should indicate the number and name of files created and submitted by you and located in the exam directory and its subdirectories on the first page of the exam document. 1. Theatre Create the theatre notice shown in the figure. The following instructions provide guidance for this. The size of the notice will be A5, therefore you should place two copies on an A4 size sheet with landscape orientation. 1. Most of the text is located in the file szinhaz.txt. Create a new document with the name plakat, into which you import the text. Change the orientation of the document to landscape and set the margins on all sides to 1.5 cm. 2. Create a table with 1 row and 4 columns. The column widths should be 11.8, 1.5, 1.5, 11.8 cm respectively, the line height should be exactly 17.5 cm. Set the table centered horizontally. 3. Create the part shown in the example in the first cell. During formatting do not insert new paragraphs. The font type is Arial or Nimbus Sans, and Times New Roman or Nimbus Roman. Font sizes are: 24 points, 12 points, 10 points and 8 points. While listing the performers, pay attention to appropriate indents. 4. Complete the text with the part related to the approval of the notice as shown in the example. This part of the text begins 6 cm from the left margin of the cell and is centered within the remaining space. The dotted line for the signature of the headmaster is indented 0.5 cm on both sides. Font size is 8 points. 5. The picture in the background is located in the attached file diszlet.jpg. Insert the picture, then change its scale to three times the original size both horizontally and vertically. Align the picture as shown in the example. 6. Border the cell with an arbitrary ornamental border as shown in the example. 7. Copy the content and the format of the cell into the 4 th cell. (The two cells should be identical in every aspect.) 8. 2. Colours Create the following presentation to introduce the RGB colour synthesis method. Save your work in the format of the program as szin. Type the text of the presentation according to the example. Use picture keveres.gif to create the 4 th slide. 1. The background of the slides should have RGB code 0, 128, 128 (a shade of cyan). The title should be dark yellow and the remaining text should be light yellow. 2. On the 2 nd slide the circles and the captions should be spaced evenly as shown in the example. The circles should be coloured with the basic colours. 3. On the 3 rd slide the first column of the table should be aligned left, the others should be aligned centered. 4. 3. Primitive man Create a web page to introduce primitive man findings based on the following description. Create two files with names osember.html and nean.html. The text of the pages can be found in file osforras.txt, one after the other. The pictures necessary for the solution of the exercise: ember.jpg, neanderk.gif, rajz.jpg, bal_nyil.gif. 1. The background colour of both pages is moccasin (colour with code #FFE4B5) and the text colour is navy (colour with code #000080). 2. The title on one Primitive man, on the other Neanderthal man should be Heading1, aligned centered. The content of the title appearing in the header of the browser should be identical with these. 3. In osember.html, place ember.jpg after the title centered, bordered with border width 1 pt. The two paragraphs can be inserted into the page from file osforras.txt. 4. In the first paragraph convert a fossil skeleton into a link that links to the other file, nean.html. 5. Insert picture rajz.jpg aligned centered as shown in the example, then place the second paragraph on the page, aligned left. 6. In nean.html highlight the title by a line of width 400 points, aligned centered. 7. After the line, create a table with width 700 points, without borders, aligned centered. 8. Insert picture neanderk.gif into the left cell and the last paragraph of osforras.txt into the right cell. 9. 4. Fruits During the solution take the following into consideration. Whenever possible, use a formula, function or reference in the solution. There are parts in the exercise that use the results from a previous question. If you can not solve the previous part completely, use its solution as it is, or instead of a formula resulting in a number use 50 000 or 5%, or instead of a text use the words I don t know and work on with these values. This way you can receive marks for these exercise parts as well. File gyumolcs.txt contains the quantity of principal fruits grown in Hungary in the year 2003 by counties. Using the worksheet processing program solve the following exercises. 1. Load the file into the worksheet processor and save it as statgyumolcs. 2. The quantity of fruits is given in tons. Set a number format with thousands separation and t after the numbers for these values. 3. Insert a column between the first and second columns. Type the text Total fruit growth in the first row of the column. 4. Calculate using a function the quantity of fruits grown in the county in the created column. 5. After the counties leave one row blank and in the following row calculate using a function the total quantity of different fruits grown in the country. 6. Sort the counties into descending order according to total fruit growth. 7. Insert a column before the column Apple. 8. In the inserted column using a function calculate what percent of the fruits grown in the country was grown in the different counties. Create an auxiliary table with 3 rows and 7 columns starting from row 25 of column D. The first row of the auxiliary table should contain the names of the fruits using reference. 11. Determine using a function the maximum quantity of the different fruits grown in the second row of the auxiliary table. 12. Determine using a function the county in which the maximum quantity of the different fruits was grown in the third row of the auxiliary table. Place the names of the counties below the quantities. 13. Create a suitable chart that shows the percentage of the different fruits grown in the individual counties. Educational competitions File tanverseny.txt contains the educational competitions called for or supported by the Ministry of Education in the academic year 2004/2005. A competition appears in several records because every event connected to the competition is stored separately. Therefore a record contains the naming (versenynev) and the type (tipus) of the competition (e.g. OKTV, 9 10. évf.), the naming (esemeny) (e.g. Nevezés, I. forduló) and the date (datum) of the event. The individual data are separated by tabs, the first row contains the field names. Save the solution of the exercises as the name given in brackets at the end of the exercise. 1. Create a database with the name versenynaptar. Import the data from file tanverseny.txt. Add an individual identifier with name AZON that also serves as a key field and save the table as adatok. 2. Using query, sort the entry (nevezés) records into ascending order according to date. Display the date of entry, the naming and the type of the competition. (Nevez) 3. Using query, count how many events of a given type (e.g. OKTV ) the database contains. (Tip) 4. Create a query that displays every data of the events of competition nature (not entry) in February 2005 in increasing chronological order. (Febr) 5.
