Finding a travelling companion: Lin: I d like to find someone to travel with and have fun. I d prefer a sunshine holiday and do some sunbathing. The English weather is so bad! It s always raining. I am outgoing and I love staying outdoors and eating local food. I love night life. Vince: I d rather go somewhere with hot weather. I like spending lots of time in the sunshine lying on a nice beach, then sit outside the restaurants and have some fun at discos at night. I m spontaneous and open-minded. Dave: I'm looking for anyone who is planning to go on a touring holiday somewhere in Southern Europe, somewhere where we can see something different rather than just sunshine. I like trekking and experiencing new cultures. I like taking pictures of beautiful landscapes. Sheila: I have booked a walking tour of the Pyrenees but there is a two person minimum requirement, so I am in need of a walking companion who wants to take-in the fascinating history and beauty of this region and likes photography. I am reasonably fit and and easy-going person. Barry: I am a 25 year old male post graduate student of business administration. I would like to have a travel companion any sex, any age, to travel to India, preferably someone with a taste for adventure. I m pretty much open to anything off the beaten track. Travel plan is flexible. I am interested in culture, meeting locals. Liza: My name's Elizabeth, 21, I live in Birmingham and I would like to go travelling during this summer possibly around America or India but I'm up for suggestions. I am planning to go by myself but I would prefer a travel companion who likes adventure on or off the beaten path. I don t mind any age. Clara: Hi, I m Spanish but fluent in English. I'll be backpacking in Peru and Bolivia for 30 days starting the 7th of January. I'd like to find a female companion to make my trip safer and have fun. I am flexible about plans. I'm very positive and easy going... I like trekking, diving - anything outdoors Get in touch! Marcella: I am planning to travel in South America for one month at the beginning of the year. I am very interested in the Inca's and like backpacking. If you want to walk some part of the Inca-trail and want to visit Machu Pichu I think it could work out between us. I am reasonably fit and an easy-going person. I don't speak Spanish, only English.

PART 3 Advice 1. What do the British recommend? David: I think a Spanish person coming to Britain should certainly try fish and chips Sara: I d recommend that a Spanish visitor tries our Yorkshire pudding, and roast beef and roast potatoes Mr. Sanders: I cooked a pasta only last night, it was basically, put the pasta in a saucepan, add some water to it, boil it up, put some garlic and some onion into the saucepan, and a bit of tomato sauce and butter mix them together, very nice indeed. Marcella: The easiest recipe I know is jacket potato, where you just peel the skin pop it in the oven for about an hour and a half, take it out, butter it and eat it. Frank: I d recommend a casserole with lots of meat and vegetables.
