Description of SIP Extension The Konftel 300IP is a flexible SIP-based conference phone, perfect for companies that use IP voice services. Recommended Software Versions SV9100: CPU V2.00.60 System Configuration An unused extension number should be assigned to an unallocated port on the telephone system. (Refer to PRG11-02 / Wizards > Advanced Items > VoIP > SIP Extensions > SIP Terminal Settings). The SIP device will register to this extension number. If authentication is required, a password should be entered in PRG15-05-16 / Wizards > Advanced Items > VoIP > SIP Extensions > SIP Terminal Settings. Authentication is enabled by default in PRG10-33-02 / Wizards > Advanced Items > VoIP > SIP Extensions > SIP Device Setup. CODEC settings can be changed in PRG84-19 / Wizards > Advanced Items > VoIP > SIP Extensions > SIP Extension Codec Settings. Further information on all the commands listed above for the systems is available in the Online Help in PCPro. SIP Extension Configuration The Konftel 300IP is configured via a web-based interface. The device can be mains powered or PoE. The most common method of configuration is to use DHCP to issue the device with an IP address, and then use a Web Browser to configure the advanced settings. It is possible to confirm the network configuration of the device through the on screen menu. Page 2 of 7
Web-based configuration Login Log in to the web configuration menu. Use the profile Admin and the default password 1234. SIP Settings Under Settings > SIP you can configure the connection account used to communicate with the NEC system. An example below is using extension number 235 and the default SIP extension port UDP:5070 and an IPL address of 192.168.88.150. Page 3 of 7
Network Configure here if a static IP address or VLAN tag is required for the customers LAN. Media Configure here the supported codecs for the device. It is recommended at G.722 is configured for highest quality audio. G.711Ulaw is not supported and should be disabled. DTMF Signalling should be set to SIP Info. Page 4 of 7
