VPN Connection and Configuration The assumption is made that you have already gained access to the internet either via a dialup, DSL, or cable modem connection. Please keep in mind that the slower your internet connection the slower these programs will be to respond. When finished with any of the applications you can click on the link to log off/sign-out or close the browser and you will be logged out automatically. Depending on what version of windows the computer you use to log into you will get one of two different types of login boxes, two or three text boxes. Login type I There are two processes to login into the VPN 1. the first time a. the first you will need to download and install the VPN client 2. each time after a. once the client is installed each time after that you will only need to use the client that you have already installed Connecting to the VPN for the first time 1. Open your web browser and in the address type the following address bar, http://mail.wsbeng.com you will then be presented with a logon window.

2. Enter your user name this way wsba\username and password, you should use the same username & password that you use when in the office then click OK Most user names are first initial last name i.e. skuechle. Login Type II 1. Open your web browser and in the address type the following address bar, http://mail.wsbeng.com you will then be presented with a logon window.

2. Enter your user name username and password in the domain enter WSBA, you should use the same username & password that you use when in the office then click OK Most user names are first initial last name i.e. skuechle. 3. You should then get the WSB Remote Access web page. From this page you will want to click VPN Connection can click any of the following application; each application will open in a new browser window.

4. This link will take you to the login screen for the VPN it self. Before you get there you will typically see this security warning. Click YES 5. This login you will need to use your network username and password. Make sure that the domain says WSBA and lick Login

6. now you will need to click on the NetExtender icon to download the VPN client 7. You will need to follow the on screen instructions to install the active X control

8. After the Active X control is installed you will be taken back to this screen. Click the NetExstender again. 9. This time the NetExstender client will be downloaded and installed. Click install and wait for the installation to complete.

10. You will likely also get this screen during the installation, click Continue Anyway 11. When you get to this screen you are connected to the WSB network.

12. Now you will need to toggle back to the following screen and download the file that maps the drives. 13. Click on the blue book mark called Map VPN Drives, then double click VPN- Logon.bat.

14. Will remember where to find it. This is the file you will use to map your drive the first time or any time later that you may need to remap them. 15. Ok finally to the important part. Double click the file you just save to your desktop, and when prompted click Run.

16. A DOS window will now appear and you will be prompted for your username and password again. At this login use just your username; do not use the WSBA before your user name. 17. You will see this scroll by and when it is finished press any key.

18. Finally it is time to work. Open your My Computer you will see all the same mapped drives on your home computer as you have when you are in the office.
