Introduction As an endeavour to facilitate brokers, Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX) is constantly involved in improving processes and procedures using state-of-the-art technology. In this regard the Exchange is pleased to offer an Android based mobile application called Broker Management System (BMS). This free application offers you the most frequently used features of PMEX systems Trader Account Management Systems (TAMS) and Clearing, Settlement & Reporting (CSR). Core functions offered to users are as follows: 1. Activation and suspension of traders 2. Setting up auto liquidation thresholds 3. Raising a fund transfer request 4. Providing fund approval 5. Allocating funds 6. BMS Installation BMS is available to you for download from our website www.pmex.com.pk. The following two versions of BMS available for download: BMS Live Version which is linked to your PMEX Live trading account. BMS Demo Version which is linked to your PMEX Demo trading account. Please note that only one version can be installed at a time. BMS Activation In order to use the application, please send activation request from your registered e-mail address to support@pmex.com.pk with the below mentioned details: Broker ID Name of the Admin User Mobile Number Registered in TAMS* After receiving BMS activation confirmation from PMEX via e-mail you will be able given access to log in to the application. *To update the mobile number, kindly login to TAMS, select User Management and Edit User User Authentication Process Once you have activated the BMS application, the next step is to log in to the application. The authentication process below has been designed as a security feature for the application. Step 2 Upon successful login, a screen will prompt for a PIN Code PIN Code will be sent to the registered mobile number Enter PIN Code to complete authentication Step 3 You will be directed to the home screen where you can start using BMS Notes for Application Users Only Admin Users can access this application with their MEM existing login credentials Admin User must have their mobile number registered in TAMS, as the login PIN will be sent to this number via SMS PIN Code is valid for one time use only Each session will automatically expire after 2 hours, upon session expiry the authentication process has to be repeated 4 B r o k e r M a n a g e m e n t S y s t e m - U s e r M a n u a l
BMS Features Trader Account (Activate / Suspend) This option allows activation or suspension of clients trading rights. You can restrict the clients trading activities by suspending their trading rights and accordingly remove restrictions by activating their trading rights. Auto Liquidation Threshold This option allows amendment of clients auto liquidation threshold above Exchange defined values. User can set 100 % as maximum threshold value. Funds Transfer Request This option allows you to initiate a request for funds deposited in Exchange s designated bank account(s). You will be required to provide complete details of transferred funds for approval and will be informed accordingly regarding approval or rejection via e-mail. In case any modification is required in the requests, kindly delete transaction and re-enter the details.
