OUR IDENTITY The NTP name is based on the names of our original founders Naffine, Turner and Perdelis. This name is incorporated into our company logo and plays a significant part in identifying a standard of product and service quality that is recognised in the wider business community of Australia. STRATEGIC DIRECTION Since our humble beginnings in 1983 NTP has evolved to become one of the leading suppliers of materials handling equipment in Australia. Today our focus is to supply a broader range of solutions, high quality of service and a national focus to our operations. NTP has structured itself to ensure that these features are maintained and delivered to our customers whilst further establishing ourselves as a benchmark for the supply of quality products and services throughout Australia. COMPANY HISTORY NTP commenced business in South Australia on the 1st of November 1983 as a sales, service and rental organisation. Today it trades as NTP Forklifts Australia and retains two of its original Directors, Nick Perdelis and John Naffine, who together have successfully grown the company to be one of the largest privately owned materials handling firms in Australia. NTP s expansion into the eastern states began with our operations in 1992 and soon after a similar operation was in Melbourne. As our client base expanded and further opportunities arose we completed our move into the eastern seaboard by opening branches in Sydney and. Melbourne Dandenong South 7,500sqm facility Darra 8,000 sqm facility The latest branch to be added to our network is in Perth which will now provide our Western Australian based customers direct sales, rental and service support. These operations are well to cater for the needs of a growing Australian market. Including purpose built premises for our sales, rental, service and parts operations to support the range of NTP products. In line with this move was the development of our product range. Initially with TCM Industrial Forklifts, Manitou Rough Terrain Forklifts and Telescopic Handlers, Taylor Dunn Electric Vehicles and more recently the inclusion of the world leading range of Jungheinrich warehousing equipment and Kalmar container handling forklifts and reachstackers. Together these products offer our customers a complete materials handling solution that we offer via sales or rental fleet management. Beginning with 10 people in 1983, today NTP employs over 250 people in a wide range of roles to support our customers and products that we provide around the nation. PARTS ONLINE The strength and network of the NTP Group s spare parts supply is well recognised within the Australian materials handling industry and has gained its experience via the support it gives to the fleet management and service departments throughout the group. The NTP Group holds a $3M parts inventory to cover the various brands that it represents. In particular this stock of parts ensures the customer s down-time is minimised in most circumstances in the event of breakdown or repair. Jungheinrich offers a complete battery electric warehousing equipment range Including powered pallet trucks, pedestrian walkie stackers, reach trucks, high/low level order pickers and 3 & 4 wheel counterbalanced forklifts. Manitou are well as the world leaders in rough terrain forklifts, telescopic handlers and personal lift platforms. The company, in France in 1953, is very market focused and offers a product range of over 70 different models to meet the needs of a wide range of global industries. TCM, now wholly owned and operated by global manufacturer UniCarriers Corporation, became the first Japanese manufacturer of forklifts in Since then it has been a specialist producer and supplier of forklifts that are globally renowned for their high level of reliability, engineering quality and performance.
