Business Objective To redesign the Oakland County Disaster Recovery (DR) process to a DNS based recovery, so that efficiencies are achieved in recovering the IT applications. Major Deliverables Redesign of Network Transport layer for DR. Updated Network Transport layer, and documentation for new DR strategy. DNS/DHCP server for the DNS based DR. NetScaler set up for the DNS based DR. Application changes for Land, E-Health, Courts, Finance, CLEMIS, E-Gov, Internal Services, and TSN applications as required. Updated DR Toolkits. Approach Project team will work with Network Services, Server Admin to redesign the network transport layer, and set up the DNS/DHCP server for the DNS based DR.
