On-line Exam completion certificate must be brought to Practice/Testing Session date. $ 55 - Textbook & DVD deposit to borrow CEHs: 9 Provided on-line by INA-CE ( ) This course, based on American Heart Association and American Academy of Pediatrics standards, is intended for persons whose job includes resuscitation of, or assisting with resuscitation of a newborn infant in the hospital settings where newborn care is typically provided, e.g., delivery room, newborn nursery, or neonatal intensive care unit. The course reviews the essential knowledge and skills required of health care professionals. Content includes the initial steps of resuscitation, use of resuscitation bag and mask, chest compressions, intubation and the administration of neonatal resuscitation medications. New updates reflect the 2010 American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)/American Heart Association Guidelines for Neonatal Resuscitation. New must know material includes the latest recommendations across key areas of change, including: revisions in the NRP flow diagram; elimination of evaluation of amniotic fluid in initial rapid assessment; use of supplemental oxygen during resuscitation; use of pulse oximetry; chest compression procedures. Completion of course requires independent study, on-line testing, and performance at several skills stations including a mock mega code. ONLINE EXAM TESTING: The only accepted website for taking NRP Online exam is The online exam cannot be taken more 30 days prior to hands-on skills components (practice & testing station).
