IDGARD is a service that protects internal & external business communication and data exchange: It s easy, safe, and compliant. And requires no additional software! All you need is a Web browser. Free apps are available for smartphones and tablets. IDGARD is based on patented Sealed Cloud technology. This ensures convenience and maximum security alike, technically excluding even access by cloud provider staff. IDGARD How Does it Work? IDGARD provides so-called Privacy Boxes. Imagine a kind of virtual drive, to which you can invite guests and employees. Only box members can exchange files or communicate within a box. Create up to 2,000 regular Privacy Boxes with your IDGARD account - sealed, highly secure, virtual workspace. Or add data rooms, to enjoy further features (e.g., journals, watermarks).* IDGARD What Is It For? With its numerous features, IDGARD offers a wide range of applications. Create a new Box via IDGARD. Choose further options in the window. 2. Optionally, you can increase this box s access security by adding a Pass Code. 3. Once you have created a Privacy Box, upload any file(s) you wish to share. 4. To invite new members, simply send them the Box Link. 5. The recipient then clicks on the link in the , to access the Box (view only). He/she does not have to be an IDGARD user.

Free IDGARD apps available for Android, ios, and Windows Phone 2. Deactivate or delete the cache through your settings. 3. Chat as usual via Web application. I.e., communicate when away, exchange files safely, and use IDGARD as a safe mobile office.

Use IDGARD directly via Outlook add-in. 2. The Outlook client can use IDGARD in the same manner as the Web application. The Outlook add-in is currently in its beta phase. Not all Web app features are available yet. 3. Use the add-in, to conveniently paste a Privacy Box in an . This allows you to send your attachments safely.

8 IDGARD Other IDGARD Network & License Models Privacy Box & Data Room A Data Room is a Privacy Box with extra anti-distribution features for files. Convert a Privacy Box into a Data Room merely by clicking, and benefit from the following added features: PDF view-only files per browser, i.e. to protect against unauthorized downloading or copying to clipboards Watermarked PDF files Optional notification of bulk downloads Journals / audit trails on all activity (uploads, downloads, deletion, etc.) in a Data Room Note: Please note that all members of a box (whether Privacy Box or Data Room) can access all files contained in that respective Box! In other words, if you have various users that shouldn t be aware of each another (or part of the activity), you have to create additional single boxes. Data Rooms may be added against payment.
