It is only necessary to connect the number of meters that are in use. If the meter has a polarity independent pulse output (relay), there is no incorrect way to connect the pulse output of the meter. Connecting a (The right vertical connector in the ): The connector marked CTS is used for connecting a or other data acquisition equipment. It is only necessary to connect the number of outputs which are in use. Note: The can only receive signals from the if a FA (or other data logger, which can power the ) has been connected correctly! The CAN NOT be used for FA-0//0/, IF an M-BUS meter requires a constant voltage on the M-BUS port. The detects when the FA device starts to power up the meters by putting a voltage on the port. Sealing the box (with thread or plastic) is possible via the sets of holes in two opposite corners on the.. Verifying the installation Pulse verification: After installation a test is performed, to see if the FA and receives pulses. FA- 0//0/ will flash momentarily with a red LED at every received pulse. Read the manual for the regarding test of pulses for the. M-BUS verification: When the M-BUS interface in the FA device is inactive, the M-BUS is connected directly to the through a relay. Please verify that communication can be performed between meter and (consult the manual for the CTS-system regarding this). M-BUS communication between the meter and the FA device is verified by performing a press-and-hold on the button on the FA device for more than.s, thus starting a manual reading. When the communication commence, the red LED on the will flash. This indicates that the M-BUS has been rerouted through the relay to the FA. Verify that the M- BUS reading is OK (i.e. by watching the LEDs on the FA, consult the installation guide for the FA if in doubt) and that the red LED on the turns off approximately seconds after the last activity on the M-BUS.
