We have no data yet for time to complete this program, but we anticipate that post-ba students will take approximately one year longer to graduate than post-ma students (those entering the program with a completed master s degree).

Graduate assistantships and fellowships pay a monthly stipend, carry a full tuition waiver, and provide an excellent benefits package. For details, see the department funding page. Students on assistantship or fellowship are responsible for university segregated fees and additional costs (such as textbooks). Estimates of these fees are found on the last two rows of the table.

6 Licensure Outcome 2004 to 2014 The total number of program graduates (doctoral degrees conferred on transcript) between 2 and 10 years ago 58 The number of these graduates (between 2 and 10 years ago) who became licensed psychologists in the past 10 years 37 Licensure percentage 64% The Commission on Accreditation encourages programs to provide additional information to assist the public (including prospective students) to interpret the overall licensure rate. One consideration is that 25-35% of our graduates typically accept academic or research positions after attaining the Ph.D. It is important to recognize that psychologists working in academia, or as researchers, do not have the same need to obtain licensure as those in primarily practice positions.
