Program Outcomes Disclosure of Education/Training Outcomes and Information Allowing for Informed DecisionMaking to Prospective Doctoral Students (Commission on Accreditation, May 6; revised November 6; July 7) Guidelines and Principles for Accreditation of Programs in Professional Psychology (G&P) requires that doctoral graduate programs provide potential students, current students and the public with accurate information on the program and with program expectations. This information is meant to describe the program accurately and completely, include education and training outcomes, and be presented in a manner that allows applicants to make informed decisions about entering the program.

Fellowships. Four fellowships are available for first year Psy.D. students entering with a master s degree in a mental health related field. Psy.D. fellows work 5 hours per week, assisting core Psy.D. faculty with teaching and research projects, during the first year of the program. Psy.D. fellows receive a quarterly stipend totaling to approximately $5, a year, and must be enrolled in 9 credits per quarter. For more information, contact the Admissions Office. 5

6 Graduate Assistantships. Antioch offers graduate assistantships annually to new students starting mastersdegree programs. Graduate assistants work on campus to hours per week and gain valuable experience while paying off a substantial portion of their annual costs. For more information, contact the Financial Aid Office. Scholarships. Antioch University Seattle offers various institutional scholarships to new students ranging from $5 to $5, per year. Selection criteria vary. To find out more, contact the Financial Aid Office. Antioch has developed a scholarship database that can connect you to more than 5 outside scholarship opportunities. The unsubsidized Federal Direct Loan and private loan programs are available if you do not meet the federal guidelines for financial need. Payment Plans. Antioch s payment plan allows you to make three payments during the quarter. For more information, contact the Student Accounts Office at Employer Reimbursement. Some employers offer tuition assistance programs. If your employer will assist with some or all of your tuition costs, contact the Student Accounts Office at to make arrangements. Program Costs. The Psy.D. program at Antioch University Seattle is 5 quarter credits. Tuition for 3 for a full time student is $79 /credit x 9 = $7, per quarter or $8,44 per year for students who attend four quarters/year. There is no difference in the tuition rate for part time students; they pay $79 /credit. There are general fees paid by every student including the student services fee and the technology fee. The student services fee is $5 per quarter for full and halftime students and $75 for less than half time. The technology fee is $3/quarter. Additionally, Psy.D. students pay a $ internship fee when they are at this stage in their program. Psy.D. students also pay a $ annual liability insurance fee. 6

Table 3.a shows the number and percentage of students in the following categories: students who obtained, students who obtained paid, students who obtained APPlC member, students who obtained APA/CPA accredited, and students who obtained two year halftime. 10 (4) Attrition A 9 analysis of the AUS Psy.D. program attrition rate revealed that of the students who withdrew from the program, on average these students had a significantly lower undergraduate GPA (Mean = 3.6, SD =.47) than the 7 students who remained in the program (Mean = 3.4, SD =.43; t(7) = 3., p. =.3). This suggests that doctoral students with a below average undergraduate GPA may be at higher risk of not completing the program. In contrast, however, in, the Psy.D. program examined all current and active Psy.D. students with a GPA lower than that typically admitted to nationally accredited programs (GPA < 3.3). The findings revealed that out of 4 total students, students had undergraduate GPA of 3. or lower, 5% of which were noncaucasian students. In addition, of the students with a GPA below 3., all were satisfactorily progressing in the program. Nevertheless, as of September, in order to secure a student body that is sufficient in number and qualified for training and careers consistent with our mission, goals, and objectives, the Psy.D. faculty decided it was best for students and the program to strictly enforce its current admission requirements. The lone, and rare exception in keeping with the Antiochian social justice mission, is that students with a lower than acceptable undergraduate GPA, but with a master s degree and at least oneyear post master s clinical experience, may be admitted for doctoral studies under a oneyear conditional admission. Students who are admitted under the umbrella of the conditional admission criteria are limited to taking nine credits per quarter. Performance will be reviewed at the Annual Review meeting, at which time, the faculty will decide whether to remove the conditional status, extend conditional status with a structured remediation plan, or recommend program withdrawal. Table 4.a indicates the number and percentage of students who have failed to complete the program once enrolled. These data calculated each entering cohort by dividing the number of students in that cohort who have left the program for any reason by the total number of students initially enrolled in that same cohort. These data shows all students who have left the program in the last seven years or for all students who have left since the program became initially accredited, whichever time period is shorter.

12 (5) Licensure Table 5.a indicates the number and percentage of program graduates who have become licensed psychologists within the preceding decade. This percentage was calculated by dividing the number of students who have both graduated and become licensed psychologists within the 8 years spanning the period of years postgraduation by the number of doctoral degrees awarded by the program over that same period. Post Graduate Licensure Rates. Of the total of 4 graduates since 4, 4 (35%) have taken the national licensing examination for psychologists (EPPP), and % have passed, with all but one passing the first attempt. At present, 5 other graduates are preparing to take the EPPP. AUS Psy.D. graduates are licensed as psychologists in Washington State, New York, California, and Canada.
