1 Certificate Course 1. The BBSI course is designed for those who need to improve their English for the workplace. The course provides practice the busess language used different ternational work contexts. Our British Council accredited course can be studied for between one and 16 weeks, and is available year-round. The course cludes English grammar and vocabulary as used busess, as well as simulations of meetgs, telephong, negotiations, and presentations. Lessons will help students build confidence usg their English professional and social scenarios. The mimum age is 18 years. 2. Course Code. EFB 3. Course Length weeks 4. Mimum Entry Level. Intermediate (equivalent to CEFR B2/IELTS 5.5) 5. English Language Elements. Students can select from one of the 2 followg study options: i) Cambridge English Language Assessment Examations*. Students can choose to prepare for one of 3 different Cambridge English examations: Cambridge English: First (FCE) Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) Cambridge English: Busess (BEC) If students wish to sit any of the above examations, we recommend at least 8 to 12 weeks' study preparation for the examation (additional examation fees would apply). ii) English Language Workshop. Alternatively, if students wish to simply focus on improvg their English language skills, they can choose to jo our English Language Workshop (ELW) at a language level to suit their needs. The ELW provides lessons grammar, vocabulary and skills practice, and helps students improve their ability to communicate effectively. The ELW covers language that may not be covered specialised lessons. 8. Course Structure. 20 lessons (15 hours) weekly 10 lessons (7.5 hours) weekly English Language TOTAL: 30 lessons (22.5 hours) weekly 9. Course Syllabus. 3 BBSI Certificate Course 10. Ma Course Entry Dates. The ma course entry dates for the above courses are September, October, January, March, May, and July annually. However, BBSI operates a flexible entry system, enablg students to start their course at other times of the year. * Cambridge English Language Assessment Cambridge English Language Assessment examations are the world's leadg range of certificates for learners of English. BBSI is an Authorised Preparation Centre for the followg Cambridge English examations: FCE, CAE, BEC, ICFE, ILEC and IELTS. Each year Cambridge English examations are taken by over 2 million people, 130 different countries.
