Master thesis Attosecond Pulse Generation with the Polarization Gating Technique Mauro Nisoli The thesis discusses the generation of attosecond pulses with the polarization gating technique. This technique is used to generate a 130 as-pulse that is then characterized by means of a Frequency Resolved Optical Gating (FROG) technique.
