Year 2005: working within the Optoelectronics Group, University of Pavia, as a PhD researcher. Research project title: Development of novel all-fiber interferometric techniques for magnetic field detection. The whole research activity was financially supported by Cesare Bonetti Petrolchimica S.p.A.. Year 2004: PhD degree in Electronic Engineering, received on 21 December 2004 at the Università di Pavia. PhD dissertation title: Generation and Detection of Millimeter-Wave Signals by Optoelectronic Techniques.
