The objective of the Workshop was to prepare CSO s statements on Chemical management, Energy and environment and Tourism and Environment as an input the UNEP s Governing Council to be Held in December, 1997 and August, Expert group workshop on training manual on Municipal solid waste Management for Africa. Sponsored by UNESCO. 8.0 CONSULTANCIES 7.1 July September, 2009 Environmental Impact Assessment Consultancy with the Ministry of Local Government (MOLG) Through AMI Development Services. Responsibilities included Social and Health Impact assessment of the proposed Missing Link Roads in Kilimani Kileleshwa, Nairobi 7.2 January- July2006: UNICEF Consultancy Consultancy from UNICEF to carry out a survey on helminthic infection among primary school children in the City of Nairobi. This was a school based study where children in 45 primary schools in Nairobi were interviewed using a questionaire, data was analysed using Statistical Package for Social scientists(spss) July 2004 July 2005 :JICA Consultancy Consultant with JICA on the Master plan on transportation system in the City of Nairobi Kenya. The first assignment was to document the Natural environments in the City of Nairobi as well as the social demographic characteristics of its residents that have a bearing on traffic congestion. The second assignment was to carry out an EIA on a proposed project to construct road missing links within the Kiliman-Kileleshwa area in the City of Nairobi DFID Consultancy Evaluation/situation analysis of Bamako Initiative Program as part of the partnership approaches to meeting the needs of urban poor (PAMNUP). Funded by DFID, My Specific assignment was to examine water Supply Systems Sanitation, and solid waste disposal systems.
