2 BIMETA THERMOMETERS (DIN PART 2) TYPE: MBT C APPICATION This thermometer is designed for indication of oil temperature in both transformers with epansion conservator or hermetically sealed type transformers. It is fitted with two electric switches and a maimum indicating pointer. The thermometer operates efficiently under very hot and very cold weather conditions. CONSTRCTION All components are surface treated or made of corrosion resistant materials. The temperature sensing element is a bimetal heli. Setting of the contacts is indicated on the indicating scale. Case The casted alumınıum alloy with electrostatic powder paint. Clear transparent plastic window of V-resistant polycarbonate. Weatherproof according to DIN 45 protection class IP 4-IP 55. Switches Two micro switches rated at 5 A VAC or.2a VDC. Electrically separated switching circuits. The switches close on temperature rise. Insulation tested to ground at 2 V for 1 minute. Maimum indicating pointer Resettable from the outside by means of a knob.
