12 Preliminary summary 1. The ticketing systems are not perceived as userfriendly 2. It s socially acceptable to travel without a valid ticket in Copenhagen 3. Around 5 to 15 % of citizens might have a tendency to travel without a valid ticket 4. 2 out of 10 has paid a fine 5. Ticket inspections are performed in a way citizens are quite satisfied with (taking into account that it is an inspection), except in Stockholm BEST Special topic fare evasion Page 12

Could be a part of the BEST Survey 2015 Draft questions (for illustration purposes only): a) How low could the fine be, and still prevent people (you?) from travelling without a valid ticket? b) How high must the fine be, for you to consider is at out of proportion?
