3 Now we Starting tutorial GM software of ISTAR New Models 1- When you Starting with ISTAR Receiver in the First time You must have the software and the channels for upgrading them You can find them in our websites istar-hd.com, istar-hd.net, istar-3d.com, Our software is formatted with.bim file Be careful don t change the format, some time when you download from internet in zipped, rar or iso and some other formatted you must extract it as I explained it must with bim format then insert to Flash USB then insert Flash to your Receiver Then Press Menu in (Remote Control) find Upgrade In Upgrade we have six options

4 a- http Upgrade here is you can update your software by one click By red bottom update the software

5 b- Channel List Upgrade here you can upgrade your channels list (copy channels) By red bottom update your channel list

6 c- Upgrade by USB

7 In there you signed to the USB Flash now you can upgrade your software and channel with USB 2- Factory reset some time you exchanging the setting of your receiver and you want to return back to default but you can t or you want to erase the receiver flash Press Menu Installation Factory reset password ( ) reset it as you like of the setting

8 3- Some time you want to back up channel list or software and channel by Dump (mix) For using it in another receiver, or listed your channel as you Like some time after upgrade your software the flash is gone empty of channels, for Sure before upgrade your software back up the

9 Channels And you can back up only channel list or back up all (software and channel MIX) 4- After upgrade software and channel (how you can connect to the Internet) For connecting to the Internet first you must have the Internet that is the Joke as I said because it s Urgent to have the Internet.

10 You can easy find it with two ways Press F1-555 OR in Menu Internet find (Ethernet Config) in the Link Type Select which type of internet you have (Wire Network - WIFI Network - 3G Network - GPRS Network)

11 a- For the Wire Network direct use it b- WIFI Network you must find your WIFI in Search type your password and select the auto Link press Link when you find your WIFI name press OK on it. Press OK on Password here you can type your password
