BACHELOR IN ECONOMIC SCIENCES The Bachelor Degree of Economic Sciences prepares students to mature into professionals that have an active role in the economic decision-making process. It provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the nature of economics and with the right instruments to operate in financial institutions and organizations public and private. The degree program requires the passing of 16 exams and 2 competency evaluations over the course of 3 years, amounting to 180 credits of academic achievement. The adopted educational model provides students with an enhanced learning experience, specifically developing instructional media and a repertoire of individual/group activities guided by instructors. All exams are to be conducted in oral or written format as declared in the institutional regulations. MASTER S DEGREE IN ECONOMIC SCIENCES The Master s Degree in Economic Sciences provides graduates with a solid knowledge of economic issues, a mastery of analysis systems and of the principles and foundations of legal order in order to use economic logic to cope with the issues of economic systems, companies and national and international institutions. In order to be admitted to the second-cycle of the Master s Degree in Economic Sciences applicants must possess a valid first-cycle Bachelor s Degree. The second-cycle Master s Degree is a 2 year program taught entirely in English. The final exam of the degree program, intended to assess the technical, scientific and professional preparation of the student, consists of the completion and discussion of a written dissertation. BACHELOR IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING The Bachelor in Computer Engineering intends to provide students with a fundamental preparation in the field of engineering by way of developing and making use of computer technologies. The course envisages an interdisciplinary academic course that incorporates Mathematics, Physics and Information & Management Engineering. A series of integrative didactic activities concerning the application of computer sciences to emerging sectors like energy, hybrid motorization and remote sensing for environmental and transportation management are also included. Moreover, theoretical training is combined with practical applications in the form of individual and team projects and assessments, stimulating students active participation, proactive attitude, and independent capacity of elaboration and communication of results. The main opportunities are foreseen in the mechanical and electro-mechanical industries, plant design and manufacturing companies, or similar spheres where the following take place: planning activities, coordination of productive activities, and development and management of plants and machinery. According to current legislation, graduates are able to work on a free-lance basis by joining the Junior Section at the following Professional Registers: Professional Engineers Register Section B Industrial Sector Upon completion of the Bachelor Degree of Industrial Engineering, graduates will have a good knowledge of the methodological-operational aspects of basic sciences (mathematical analysis, geometry, physics, chemistry, computer science) and will be able to further their understanding in engineering sciences specifically in the mechanical field or enhance their inter-sectorial knowledge in the industrial field (technical physics, fluid mechanics, electrical engineering, technical and mechanical design, mechanical behavior of materials, planning of mechanical components, technology and processing systems, applied mechanics, energy systems and machines, industrial and mechanical plants). 12

BACHELOR IN POLITICAL SCIENCE AND INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS The Bachelor of Political Science and International Relations provides methodical and professional competence within the disciplines of economics, law, history and society. Particular attention is dedicated to comparative and international issues, as well as acquiring a solid grasp of empirical, political scientific, sociological, statistical and economic research methods. PROFESSIONAL OUTCOMES The Labour Contract Law Specialist supports employees in all the different working contexts and can carry out his/her duties within a company or as an external consultant. The course prepares students to operate as staff managers in companies, associations and public or private bodies, with specific reference to the management of contracts. OVERVIEW The course introduces fundamental concepts and provides specific knowledge in the field of employment contract laws. It is also possible upon request to activate a virtual internship for those who are not able to carry it out at the University ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN PROFESSIONAL PROFILE The Accounting Technician drafts the general entry of the company in order to edit the balance sheet. Furthermore, he collects and produces all the useful data to edit the balance sheet. Usually he is part of a team group following the guidelines of a supervisor. In particular he is specialized in the following activities: accounting and fiscal compliances, clients and suppliers accountability, bank accountability, monthly or quarterly closure, cash flow and reporting activity. In smaller companies he also takes care of the analytic accountability and of the management control. He knows the objectives, the logical structure and the operation mechanisms of the financialeconomic systems of control of the companies, the principles ruling accountability in general, the company balance sheet for what concerns the civil and fiscal aspects. He has the basics of business economics, taxation law, company structure. He also knows how to use the information and communication technologies. He is precise, attentive, concentrated, trustworthiness, able to work in a team and together with workers of 50

The Accounting Technician has also a specific practical and operative preparation on the principles ruling the company fiscal accounting and its balance sheet for what concerns the civil and fiscal aspects. He/she is also experienced in the field of analytic accounting and budgeting procedures.
