Sprint Enterprise Messenger - Secure Service This service allows users to send secure SMS to mobile phones activated with the Sprint Enterprise Messenger Secure client. When the user account is set up with this service SMS can only be sent to these phones with the secure client. The secure mobile client is available for a recurring monthly fee. The service consists of a software client on the phone, as well as features within the EMG. With the EMG Secure Service users can send SMS containing information that can t be shared with others. Medical personnel can receive SMS with content that is personal in nature The authorized secure destinations can be activated within the Sprint Secure web portal or by the Sprint EMG company administrator. SMS sent to these destinations will be encrypted on the destination handset and only accessible by the recipient by entering PIN Code in the Sprint Enterprise Messenger Secure client. This service also supports READ reports so the message sender can see if the message was opened on the handset of the recipient. The status will be displayed as The Sprint Secure user menu will contain an extra link to Manage Secure Clients. This will allow you add, find and manage Secure Android clients for receiving your messages. How do I work with the Sprint Enterprise Messenger Secure account? Click on the Manage Secure Clients link to access the different function submenu: - Page 83 of 89 Sprint Messaging Gateway Web Interface -

Click on Security settings. This allows you to set the Time to Live settings for the messages you send. Your messages will automatically be deleted from the recipient s phone based on the time you set. When you add new Secure client recipients for your account the Time to Live setting will automatically be assigned for the recipient. You can automatically change these settings by choosing the value in the dropdown menus and clicking Update. You may have some users that have the default Time to Live settings and others where you have individually set a different value. By checking Force All prior to Update you will change the Time to Live value for all of your Secure client users to the new value. If you don t check Force All then you will only update those Secure clients that are using your default value. How do find the Secure clients that I can manage and send secure messages? Click on Find Secure Clients This allows you to find and manage individual Secure clients linked to your user account. You search results will be displayed based on the values you entered in the different Find Users fields. - Page 84 of 89 Sprint Messaging Gateway Web Interface -

From this screen you can check the account status of the different Secure clients, identify the different clients and see the activation status of the Secure client on the destination phones. When you click on the checkbox at the beginning of each line of users you can change the status of the Secure client account, i.e. Activate, Suspend or Delete, or delete the messages or reset the PIN of the destination Secure client. If you click on the link under the User Login column you open the Update User window. This will allow you to set individual Time To Live value, delete messages and reset PIN for the individual Secure client and add / update information about the Secure client owner. How do I add new Secure client numbers? Click on Add Secure Clients. This will allow the Sprint Secure account to add a single mobile device client to receive secure EMG messages and be managed by this account. - Page 85 of 89 Sprint Messaging Gateway Web Interface -

First name and Last name are optional fields. Click Add. If the mobile device doesn t have a Sprint Enterprise client account you will be forwarded to the Sign Up page to complete the creation of the account. The information you already entered will be populated in the Sign up page. Add the Password and the Company Name (Optional) and Click Register. If a secure mobile number belongs to another Enterprise Messaging Secure account you will not be able to add this mobile to your account for management. You will however be able to send secure messages to the destination as long as it has the Sprint Messaging Secure client. Use the Find Users function to find the accounts you have added for further management functions. - Page 86 of 89 Sprint Messaging Gateway Web Interface -

How do I add multiple new Secure client numbers at once? Click on Import Secure Clients. Will allow you to create multiple accounts at the same time using an Excel spreadsheet or csv file. The File will contain 3 columns: o Mobile number o First name (optional) o Last name (optional) Click on Browse to find and select the file. Click Add to import and create the Enterprise Messenger Secure client accounts: - Page 87 of 89 Sprint Messaging Gateway Web Interface -

Use the Find Users function to find the accounts you have added for further management functions. What should I know about sending messages? It is recommended that the message sender enter the list of authorized devices in the EMG Address Book to allow easy addressing of messages to these destinations. See sections in this guide for working with the EMG Address Book. SMS sent to Secure client devices and their status will be displayed in the Sent Items the same as the standard service with the addition of the READ status. When a user receives your message he can only reply back to the EMG account. This will be displayed as a Reply in the Sent Items or in the Inbox. This is unchanged from the standard service. Recipients will not be able to forward or copy your message.
