If you want to change small things in your programme you need the approval of the Board of Examiners in advance (!). To apply f acceptance of exceptions to the regular programme, a request should be submitted to the Board of Examiners. It may be wise to consult the Academic counsell in advance. The Teaching committee has three main responsibilities:..to advise on the Teaching and Examination Regulations and on the Implementation Regulations To annually evaluate the programme To advise on all matters concerning education Student Association Technologisch Gezelschap The Technologisch Gezelschap (TG) is the student association f students of Chemical Engineering. TG annually ganises a lot of activities, which vary from excursions, readings and symposia, to a freshman s weekend and company days. They also monit the quality and content of the education. 4 Useful web addresses Blackboard blackboard.tudelft.nl Blackboard is TU Delft s virtual learning environment. Students, instructs and staff use blackboard f almost all communication f their courses. There is a blackboard page f every course, but also f the ganisation master of Chemical Engineering. Contact the programme codinat if you do not have access to the Chemical Engineering blackboard ganisation. F individual timetables see My Timetable in the Blackboard tab MyStudentinfo. Regulations The regulations handle all possible issues concerning education and examinations. All rights and obligations of both students and teachers are explained in detail. The Teaching & Examination Regulations and the Implementation Regulations are established by the Teaching Committee. The Board of Examiners establishes the Rules and Guidelines regarding examinations. Please look at the web page f an overview and the archive of all regulations. In the Rules and Guidelines you will find the pass/fail regulations, the meaning of the marks, and the conditions f the predicate with distinction. Students are required to register f written examinations in the examination registration system no later than calendar days (not wking days) befe the exam. Pri to a third ( subsequent) examination attempt the instruct is allowed to oblige the student to consult the instruct in der to obtain educational advice and help f though preparation. Master Thesis project Please look at the thesis project flowchart when you are about to start a thesis project, via blackboard. The website also gives access to many search ptals, electronic journals etcetera. During your course, you will find that the Virtual Knowledge Centre (VKC) of your programme will come in very useful i.e. The VKC is the ideal place to start when looking f infmation in your field, as it provides virtually all knowledge in your field. Learn me about other VKC at vkc.library.tudelft.nl. Research groups > Research groups There are many research groups where you are welcome to do your master thesis wk. On the website you will find infmation about the groups, but we recommend to contact some staff members yourself to get infmation about the actual research subjects.
