2 Traditional Installation USING BASIC LANDLINE questions, please call us at: Telephone Jack Telephone Place unit near an existing wall jack and phone. Locate the cord that stretches from the wall jack to the phone. Unplug the end that goes into the phone and plug it into the unit s adaptor, in the port labeled wall jack (A). Using the provided phone cord, connect your existing phone into the unit s adaptor, in the port labeled phone (B). Call to put your account approximately 5- times and then say come on after approximately 15-0 seconds 5 Plug the transformer 9 Congratulations! Your system is now on-line 8 CORDLESS Cordless phone users must plug into main base that s plugged into unit, not a satellite base.

Locate the cord that stretches from the wall jack to the answering machine. Unplug the end that goes into the answering machine and plug it into the unit s adaptor, in the port labeled wall jack (A). Using the provided phone cord, connect your existing answering machine into the unit s adaptor, in the port labeled phone (B). 4 Installation USING VOIP/CABLE (Voice Over Internet Protocol) Modem questions, please call us at: Phone Phone 1 5 Place unit near an existing Modem and VOIP phone. Locate the cord that stretches from the modem to the phone. Unplug the end that goes into the VOIP phone and plug it into the unit s adaptor, in the port labeled wall jack (A). Using the provided phone cord, connect your existing VOIP phone into the unit s adaptor, in the port labeled phone (B). Plug the transformer 8 9 Call to put your account approximately 5- times and then say come on after approximately 15-0 seconds Congratulations! Your system is now on-line DSL USERS DSL users must make sure you have a DSL Filter plugged into the phone jack on the wall that you will be plugging the unit into. If you do not have a DSL filter, you can get one from your phone service provider. DSL Filter

6 Helpful Tips & Reminders first setting up your unit or if you have any questions, please call us at Remember to test your system weekly at any time. Call to put your system on TEST MODE. When you hang up with the operator, simply press your button and wait for the operator to come on the speaker. Tell him/her you are just testing. If you wish to test from outside in your yard, it is advisable to first call the testing number on your unit and ask to be put on test mode for 15-0 minutes. Test your button from outside and call the testing number again when you return. They will tell you how many signals were received. Your PASSWORD is your ACCOUNT NUMBER, conveniently located on top of your console. If you should call our Central Station for any reason (updating emergency contact numbers or medical information), they will ask for your PASSWORD. It is best to set-up your unit in a centrally located place in your home if possible. This allows two-way communication to be used effectively. To answer an INCOMING phone call, simply press your button to take advantage of the speakerphone. Press your button again to disconnect the call when finished.
