4 NuStar Scale model of petroleum storage tank terminal The St Eustatius terminal is situated at the crossroads of major shipping routes between Brazil and the USA as well as between West Africa and the Gulf of Mexico, and thus is an important hub that helps balance out the geographical mismatch in the supply and demand of oil products. NuStar s customers at the St. Eustatius terminal operate throughout the world and have a need for additional storage in St. Eustatius. To meet the changing requirements of its clients, NuStar plans to expand the capacity at St Eustatius. In order to inform Island residents on the new terminal, an accurate scale model (1:250) was made. In the old days, Makro tried to position their business as a wholesaler for Food and Non-food products and their targeted customers were small retailers, and general business.
