2 The new graphic design for Tekniseri Group embodies a modern, international business The visual appearances of Tekniseri Group and its subsidiaries Tekniseri Oy, PS-Print Oy and Tarraserif Oy were harmonised and revised in autumn The result is a credible, international and modern look for Tekniseri. The new visual design reflects the expanded and diverse range of products and services offered by Tekniseri Group with timeless clarity. The graphic design is derived from the earlier Tekniseri logotype, which was used as the template for the new Tarraserif and PS-Print logos. The key symbol in the new graphic design is an image consisting of three superimposed colour foils, known as the Tekniseri colour foil. The new colour range for Tekniseri Group consists of an impressive dark violet for Tekniseri, an eye-catching orange for Tarraserif and a distinguished burgundy for PS-Print. The foils illustrate the diversity of the products and services of Tekniseri Group and how they merge into a full range of printing services.

The purpose of the clear area is to provide enough space around the logo, ensuring that it stands out from all other text and images. Personalize Your Product
10 Basic graphic elements and colour palette > Using the logo 10 The Tekniseri, Tarraserif or PS-Print logo must sometimes be superimposed on a picture or other graphic element. The following is a checklist for using the logo correctly: the logo is superimposed on a light-coloured or otherwise clean area of the picture or graphic, preferably towards the top right the logo minimum size is observed the logo is not distorted or rotated on a dark background, the negative version of the logo is used (if the background is black or dark, use a white logo) A black-and-white version of the logo may be used for ads in newspapers and magazines.

Each of the three foils has a specific colour (see the specs above). The use of the colour foil graphic in marketing materials should be considered on a case-by-case basis. The three elements of the colour foil graphic are inseparable; they must never be used separately. The colour foil graphic is always placed on the top edge of the medium or sheet, and always bled. There must never be an area of white or background visible above the colour foil graphic.

14 Basic graphic elements and colour palette > Using the colour foil symbol 14 NOTE If the colour foil graphic is used for instance at the top edges of pages in a printed product, the graphics on either side of each sheet must be mirror images of each other and aligned horizontally. With a mirror-image colour foil graphic, the Tekniseri Group, Tekniseri, Tarraserif or PS-Print logo must be placed to the left under the graphic. An example is this business card, where the colour foils wrap over the top of the card. On the side with the contact information, the logo is flush with the left edge of the graphic.
