During the last year Elvin has been on a mission towards Volvo AB in the aftermarket session as an product system owner. He has been responsible for diagnostic requirements within his system. The vehicle subsystem includes for example the lights package. Elvin has also knowledge about the brake system EBS/ABS but also general theoretical and practical knowledge of the truck. Elvins main expertise are in testing and verification and circuit design with three years experience in the telecommunications industry and three years in the vehicle industry. Elvin is working primarily with the tools Grade-X, TechTool, PSpice and Matlab. But knowledge in CANoe and CANalyzer and other testing programs are present. Elvins goal is to work in an, for him, interesting industry where he got the space to learn about new areas. He loves to be putted on the limit of his knowledge. He will then combine his technical knowledge from school with his practical experiences from earlier assignments. Elvin has a habit of laboratory environments. A good knowledge of different measurement techniques and many different electrical measuring instruments but also knowledge about communication types as CAN,LIN, FlexRay and similar. Knowledge regarding object oriented programming and assembler is present. In this assignment Elvin is the one to set requirements for new projects regarding his subsystem but also to solve issues and form workpackages that is send out to developers.

Elvin worked as an diagnostic author and developed the faulttracing for the braking system. The commitment is to provide software to TechTool so that the mechanics get the help they need to fault trace the trucks. The mission is not only to provide programming but also to test if the background material from the development is relevant and if it corresponds to the reality in a physical workshop. The mission provides thereby two different types of knowledge; the theoretical knowledge that Elvin get from the software development in XML (Grade-X) but also the practical knowledge from the workshops where we test our own faulttracings. The mission is thereby both theoretical and practical. Elvins huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter bestod främst i att dels utveckla och programmera felsökning för Volvos eftermarknadsverktyg Tech Tool och dels jobba i tidiga faser av projekt för att kravställa från ett eftermarknadsperspektiv. Elvin, kom mycket snabbt igång med de nya arbetsuppgifterna och tog för sig direkt. Han satt aldrig passiv och väntade på att saker skulle lösa sig utan såg själv till att söka upp vägar framåt. Han är inte rädd för att ifrågasätta om han tycker något är märkligt eller ologiskt vilket är en bra engenskap. När det kommer till problem har han också egenskapen att fokusera på hur problemet ska lösas snarare än att fastna och bara fokusera på problemet i sig. I och med detta klarar han galant att arbetea i ett flexibelt och ibland rörigt sammanhang där han dels kan leverera kontinueligt men också bidra till långsiktiga förbättringar i arbetssätt och processer. Department: Ytmontering, Machine operator He was involved in the production of printed circuit boards including: security aspects, troubleshooting of the machine and replacement of consumable materials. Department: RAU2, Constructing and testing Filter, circuit board and frames is putted together into a final product. The final product is tested and validated accordingly. In some cases troubleshooting is needed. When I'm not reading I like to spend time with my friends and family, no matter what kind of activity, and if I'm not with my friends you can find me at a sunny beach or a mountain top skeeing.
