18 The Microsystem Technology Laboratory Vi jobbar ju med MEMS och teknologi för att kombinera elektronik och MEMS eller flera lager elektronik på chip och i skräddarsydd kapsling. Det här är helt klart relevant för inbyggda system. Vi erbjuder också kurser om MEMS för studenter från bland annat programmet inbyggda system.
19 Communication Networks Laboratory Vi undersöker användningen inom maskin-till-maskin kommunikation av ett kommunikationssystem som utvecklats vid KTH under sex år. Systemet möjliggör att mobila enheter kommunicerar direkt utan infrastruktur (men kan utökas med infrastruktur) och det bygger på principen "publish/subscribe". System kan användas för insamling och spridning av data i industriella, i gruvor, skogar och inom areala miljöer. KTH School of Electrical Engineering
20 The Automatic Control Laboratory performs, among others, basic research on Embedded Wireless Networked Systems The Laboratory is equipped with a large infrastructure for wireless networked embedded control - The infrastructure includes hardware equipment with hundreds wireless embedded nodes and software for the demonstration and development of protocols for the control of networks and protocols for the control over embedded networks. - Several implementation concerning Intelligent Transportation Systems, Smart Grids, Industrial and Building Automation have been carried out. - Examples include the demonstration of the formation control of several heavy-duty vehicles, the wireless closedloop control of unmanned ground and aerial vehicles.
21 The Automatic Control Laboratory performs, among others, basic research on Embedded Wireless Networked Systems - Experiments are currently being developed together with ABB, Fortum, and Ericsson within the Stockholm Royal Seaport Project. - The laboratory infrastructure is being integrated with the KTH campus-wide HVAC system to investigate novel control and fault detection embedded schemes for building automation. - The Laboratory is currently supported and used by several national and European projects such as EU FP7 projects Hydrobionets, FeedNetBack, NoE HYCON2, EIT ICT Labs, VINNOVA NECS, WiComPI projects, SSF and VR projects, including the KTH ACCESS Linnaeus Centre. The Laboratory provides the courses at the Master Level "EL2745 Principles of Wireless Sensor Networks" and "EL2450 Hybrid and Embedded Control Systems".
