2 Food Service Days and Other Facts SERVICE DAYS Food service days are Monday through Thursday. Friday is a minimum day and lunch is not served, however food is being served during breaks. PAYMENT PLANS Payment for school lunches is by cash, check, or credit card. Please make checks out to Viva Student Food Service, and include your child's name and room number on the memo line.

3 MENUS Prepaid, Gluten Free, Viva Catering Viva Student Food Service offers three menus to accommodate the needs of the students, staff, and family members of Oxford Preparatory Academy. All menus are posted on the school website, accessible via the Parent Portal. Simply select the Menu/Nutrition option tab. The Ala Carte Menu will immediately appear. Located in the space above the Ala Carte menu you will find the Prepaid, Gluten Free, and Catering menu. The Ala Carte Menu is a permanent menu and will not change throughout the school year. An enlarged version of the Ala Carte Menu is posted in the cafeteria for the students to view their selections. Two (2) days before the end of each month Viva will post the Pre-Paid menu on the school website. Each menu can be downloaded in PDF form, or Microsoft Excel.

4 PREPAID LUNCH Absence and Credit Prepaid lunch orders requires a minimum one (1) day advance notice. Credit is only given to those who call before (9) nine a.m. the morning of the absence. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Viva prepares each prepaid meals as ordered each morning to assure lunch if readily available during the lunch hour.

5 FREE LUNCH Your response when your child is in debt is important. VIVA Student Food Service understands a child may forget their money at home or leave it in the classroom. So, unless your child has an excessive debt with Viva Student Food Service, these policies are followed: The meal selected by your child is given to them along with a reminder payment slip. If the student has no money several days in a row, you may receive another reminder slip or a phone call. If payment has not been made after several free meals, your child will be given fruit, and/or a nutrition bar. If you do not send in a payment, note, or make a call, to Viva customer care regarding payments, Viva food service manager will meet with the principal. The principal or staff member will contact you to discuss your child increasing debt. VIVA WOULD LIKE TO ASSIST ALL CHILDREN WHEN THE NEED ARISE. PLEASE HELP US TO HELP THOSE IN NEED BY PAYING THE AMOUNT DUE WITHIN A TIMELY FASHION. THANK YOU FOR ASSISTING US WITH THIS IMPORTANT MATTER

6 SPECIAL ORDERS We cater to the nutritional needs of all students. A minimum of two hour notice is required for special food orders. Please note special food orders may require an additional charge.

7 HOW TO ORDER A PREPAID LUNCH Viva Student Food Service is pleased to offer parents a convenient, inexpensive, and safe way to pay for their child's school meals online using a debit, credit card, or Pay Pal. The following instructions will assist you through the online ordering process. If you are in need of additional assistance, please feel to contact Viva Customer Care at ( ) 1. Within the Parent Portal Select Viva Student Food Service 2. Select the Menu/Nutrition Option 3. Select View and download Pre-Paid Menu Here 4. Fill in the prepaid section you must download the menu in PDF, or Excel file format. Note Viva Student Food Service provides services to OPA Chino and OPA Mission Viejo. It is important that each order is filled with the REQUIRED information. Your child name, the class and teacher name 5.
