2 A WEEKEND IN EDINBURGH Visit this beautiful city for the weekend before heading off through central Scotland and the Lower Highlands! Edinburgh Join us for two packed days exploring the beautiful city of Edinburgh. The city offers a fine mixture of arts, cultural attractions and historic architecture as well as the spectacular skyline. The stunning view of the castle on top of an extinct volcano offers a unique background to a modern shopping experience. There is a reason why part of the City of Edinburgh is listed as a World Heritage Site. Edinburgh is, in fact, the second most visited city in the United Kingdom, and its easy to see why. The city offers an unrivalled atmosphere with the breathtaking Old Town, begging to be explored on the hair raising ghost tour, which we have included in the programme. 3 DAYTRIP TO THE HIGHLANDS Join InterStudies and explore the magic of the Scottish Highlands. Discover breathtaking scenery, enchanting lochs, and Highland Cows! Scottish Highlands Join us for a day trip through central Scotland and to the lower Highlands culminating at the stunning Loch Katrine. On our way we stop at the Kelpies, which are based on the famous Clydesdale horse and overlook the river Forth. Further north we will visit the Wallace Monument, dedicated to the freedom fighter William Wallace, will you be able to complete the 246 step climb? After visiting the city of Stirling we will make the short journey to Calendar for photo opportunity with Hamish the Highland Cow before heading to Loch Katrine and have lunch in one of Scotland s most tranquil spots. The InterStudies Dublin tour is a great chance to meet other students on the programme, socialising and enjoying the famed Irish hospitality! Dublin s Fair City Dublin has it all, a charming mix of medieval, Georgian and modern architecture, a wealth of history and culture, a legendary literary tradition, wonderful shopping and of course some fantastic characters. In addition to the many great sights this fascinating city has to offer, our trip will take you past the Guinness store house- the centre of Guinness brewing since It is unsurprisingly one of Dublin s most visited attractions. Go to: Login name: student Password: isxukstu Once you ve signed up, you need to pay, in order to keep your place on the trip. Pay the trip fee directly into our account. Our bank info is at the bottom of the page Please write the name of the student taking part in the trip on the payment, so we know who s paid! Remember signing up for the trip is binding we can only refund your payment if InterStudies cancels the trip altogether Wait with booking your travel until we have confirmed your place on the trip! Transport You arrange your own transport to and from the trip. This means your free to choose the cheapest & most convenient way to travel. Make sure you will be able to get to the trip start point in good time, and will have enough time to get to the airport / train station at the end of the trip. If you re not sure if your travel plans are OK us before you book! You must arrive on the start day of the trip, and leave on the day the trip finishes. Travelling overnight (e.g. on overnight ferrys or buses) isn t allowed. your travel plans to us at least 2 weeks before the start of the trip! Meals & Accommodation The meals specified in this brochure are included in the price of the trip. Other meals aren t. You ll be able to choose where to eat yourself.
