Hold bilateral meetings with the agencies. Prepare a short document with proposals on how the Indicators system can be used for national development planning. Organise a workshop to present the results of the work in public agencies. Implementation of research into consumption patterns and sustainable lifestyles in one urban area in China, leading to the development of policy proposals to further enable sustainable consumption. 24 Work Package 2: National SCP policy support activities Cambodia Support the process of establishing an SCP center within the MoE in cooperation with the National Council on Green Growth, to facilitate long term learning and networking, which could act as an education hub; Carrying out the SCP Policy training for trainers and for decision makers. Under this activity, the SCP handbook would need to be translated. Training could be conducted targeting various groups of stakeholders (at least three different target groups). Development of a NAP on SCP to implement the Green Growth roadmap, including (1) inter-ministerial and (2) multi-stakeholder consultations and (3) development of communications materials (print and audio visual). Capacity Building on the development and implementation of national SCP indicators, including training of statistics and other relevant agencies in database development. 29 Country level work? Demonstrate pathway to impact through cases in countries where policy development has used indicators. Establish institutional arrangements to build knowledge base though collaboration of national government agencies, national statistical offices and national research institutes and universities. UNEP and its partners, in particular the International Resource Panel and the APRSCP, to provide technical support and build capacity for building a national knowledge base for datasets and indicators for a resource efficient and green Asia through hands-on expert workshops and collaborative projects using experience from within the Asia and the Pacific region. Use indicators to support national level Sustainable Development Goals activities 29
