1 Dear participant in the Nordic Alcohol and Drug Researchers Assembly 2014 Welcome to Stockholm and to the NADRA 2014 conference! This message contains important information to all participants. Please read the following instructions and practical information carefully. General information: Ersta Konferens is located in the Södermalm area of Stockholm, just south of the old town. The location is a charming old hospital milieu with a beautiful view over the city. Look for a gateway leading you to a courtyard and you will find the main building on your right-hand side. The address is: Ersta konferens & hotell Erstagatan 1K Stockholm Tel Registration to the conference begins on August 27 at 10:30. The first plenary of the day begins at 11:00. The conference ends on August 29 at 13:00 with lunch from 13:00-14:00. How to reach the conference venue, Ersta Konferens: Arlanda Airport Stockholm Central Station Arriving by train By train to Stockholm Central station: The Arlanda Express airport train is the fastest way of reaching Stockholm Central Station (20 minutes). Bus transportation (Flygbussen) is the cheapest alternative. Arriving by taxi When travelling in a group of 4 persons or more, it is cheaper to share a taxi to the city centre. Many taxi companies have a set price for the trip (between SEK). N.B! Taxi fares are not regulated in Stockholm. Taxi Stockholm or Taxi 020 have reasonable standard fares, but always check the price with the driver before starting your journey.

2 Stockholm Central Station (T-centralen) Ersta Konferens Make sure you have a ticket before traveling by bus, as drivers might not sell tickets. Tickets can be bought in metro stations, Pressbyrån kiosks and SL railway stations. By public transport: Bus: Bus nr 53 from the Central Station (direction Henriksdalsberget), alight at Ersta Sjukhus. Walk 250 m to Ersta Konferens. Metro: Two metro lines will take you to Ersta konferens, the red line (direction Norsborg/Fruängen) or the green line (direction Hagsätra/Farsta strand/skarpknäck). Alight at Slussen. From Slussen it is about a 1 km walk to Ersta konferens. Bus nr 53 (direction Henriksdalsberget) or blue bus nr 2 (direction Maria) will also take you from Slussen/Katarinavägen to the stop at Ersta Sjukhus. For more information check the attached map. By taxi from the Central Station: Taxis are located next to the Arlanda Express platform entrance. Accommodation Please note that registration to the conference does not include accommodation. It is your responsibility to arrange and pay for your hotel nights. (Except: plenary session key-note speakers with whom we have been in touch about accommodation) Workshop chairpersons Check the programme to see if you have been asked to act as chairperson of a workshop. Please arrive 10 minutes before the beginning of the session and check that all presenters are present, and make sure necessary files etc. are transferred to the computer in the conference room and check that microphones are in order and ready to be used by the presenters. Please introduce each presenter by stating their name and the title of their abstract. Each workshop chairperson should make sure all presenters get an equal share of the time available and that there is time for discussion. Abstract presenters during workshops Please arrive 10 minutes before the beginning of the session and make sure necessary files etc. are transferred to the computer in the conference room. Please keep your presentation within the allotted time and allow time for questions and discussion. Technical information The conference venue s technical equipment only supports PC compatible files (presentations etc.). If you have used MAC programs for your presentation, we kindly ask you to make sure they are PC compatible. Reception at Stockholm City Hall 27.8 By the courtesy of Stockholm City we are invited to a buffet reception including a guided tour at the historic and beautiful Stockholm City hall. There will be bus transportation from Ersta Konfrens to the City hall. The bus departs from Ersta Konferens at 17:15. If you decide to walk from Ersta Konferens to the City Hall, make sure you reserve enough time for the walk as latecomers will not be able to enter the City Hall. We will meet at the inner courtyard of the City Hall at 17:50. All participants are
