1 Concentration in Family and Community Engagement The B.S. in prepares students to make a difference with and for youth and families in local and global communities. Students learn what it takes to be a civic leader, a culturally competent and socially aware educator, and an advocate for youth and families in need. The Family & Community Engagement concentration broadly prepares students across the areas of human and social services in a variety of career fields. This is a non-licensure program ideal for already-licensed practitioners and for those looking to expand their professional development and range of expertise. 2 Concentration in Early Childhood Education Administration The B.S. in prepares students to make a difference The Early Childhood Administration concentration prepares students to work in and be leaders of child care and early childhood settings. This is a non-licensure program that emphasizes organizational leadership issues as well as curricular and instructional practices in the early childhood field.
