Working time recording and monitoring Thanks to the direct connection to the digital tachograph, the monitoring of driving and rest times is no longer a problem. The introduction of the digital tachograph led to increased checks of the driving and resting times in European traffic and changed the legal requirements for archiving driver data. Transportation companies spend considerable amounts of time and capacity reading and archiving driver cards and mass memory from the digital tachographs. Now they can finally save on this. The reading of the mass memory is completely automatic from the dispatch agent s desk. This only requires connecting the company card for the digital tachograph with your PC. All upcoming and overdue downloads are monitored and performed automatically. The driver card download allows the driver card to be read out directly in the vehicle, independent of the installed tachographs, by inserting the driver card in the FleetBoard on-board computer. The download and storage of the data are completed within a brief period of time. All legal obligations with regard to documentation and archiving are complied with after the completion of both download variants since this ensures the complete driver card and mass memory information is stored in the secure FleetBoard Service Centre according to legal requirements. Independent analysis programs can also provide additional information on violations of driving and rest times, missing downloads, or speeding.
