1 N211/R01 ( ) - SK INSTALLATION MANUAL / NÁVOD NA INŠTALÁCIU MPSV 15 CABLE HEATING CIRCUITS / VODIČOVÉ VYKUROVACIE OKRUHY GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS / VŠEOBECNÉ PODMIENKY The heating part of the cable heating circuit may not be shortened or otherwise adjusted in any way. Only the cold connection ends may be shortened, as needed. The connector joining the cold connection end and the heating circuit must not be installed in a bend. The heating cables may neither touch nor cross one another. The minimum distance between the cables is 30 mm, and the diameter of a bend must be at least eight times greater than the cable s diameter. If the heating or power supply cables are damaged, they must be replaced or repaired by the manufacturer, its service technician or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent a dangerous situation from arising. The heating cable must be supplied with electricity by means of a residual current circuit breaker with rated actuating current of IΔn 30 ma. We recommend that each heating unit/circuit be equipped with a separate residual current device. The heating cables may be stored at temperatures up to the resistance of the jacket (80 C) and installed at a temperature of greater than - 5 C. When in use, the cables may not be exposed to temperatures exceeding 80 C. The installation must allow disconnecting the cables at both poles. Before and after laying the cables, it is necessary to measure the insulation resistance between the heating conductor and the protective braiding. This measured value may not be less than 0.5 MΩ. Record the measured values in the certificate of warranty. In case of any discrepancies, you should report these immediately to the manufacturer or supplier and discontinue the work completely. Before using the heating cable, it is necessary to check whether the data on the label is in accordance with your requested product The supplier must inform other construction suppliers of the place where the heating unit is installed and of the related risks. The perimeter of the area must be separated from the vertical structures by an expansion joint (polystyrene, Mirelon, etc., up to 10 mm wide). Vykurovacia časť vodičového vykurovacieho okruhu sa nesmie krátiť, ani inak upravovať. Krátené podľa potreby môžu byť len studené pripojovacie konce. Spojka spojujúca studený koniec a vykurovací okruh sa nesmie inštalovať v ohybe. Vykurovacie vodiče sa nesmú dotýkať, ani krížiť, vzdialenosť vykurovacích vodičov od seba je min. 30 mm, priemer ohybu vodiča môže byť minimálne osemnásobok jeho priemeru. Ak je vykurovací vodič alebo napájací prívod poškodený, musí byť nahradený alebo opravený výrobcom, jeho servisným technikom alebo podobne kvalifikovanou osobou, aby sa zabránilo vzniku nebezpečnej situácie. Vodiče neinštalujte pomocou hrebíkov a vrutov! Vykurovací vodič musí byť napájaný cez prúdový chránič s menovitým vybavovacím prúdom IΔn 30 ma. Doporučujeme každý vykurovací celok/okruh vykurovania vybaviť samostatným prúdovým chráničom. Vykurovacie vodiče sa môžu skladovať do teplotnej odolnosti plášťa (80 C) a inštalovať pri teplote vyššej než 5 C, pri prevádzke nesmú byť vystavené teplotám vyšším než 80 C. Inštalácia musí umožniť odpojenie vodičov v oboch póloch. Pred pokládkou aj po pokládke je nutné premerať odpor vykurovacieho okruhu. Namerané hodnoty sa musia zhodovať. Namerané hodnoty zapíšte do Záručného listu. Tolerancia nameraných hodnôt ±5-10%. Pred pokládkou a po pokládke musí byť premeraný izolačný odpor medzi vykurovacím vodičom a ochranným opletením nameraná hodnota nesmie byť nižšia než 0,5 MΩ. Namerané hodnoty zapíšte do Záručného listu. Akékoľvek nezhody ihneď oznámte výrobcovi alebo dodávateľovi a ukončite všetky práce. Pred použitím vykurovacieho vodiča je nutné skontrolovať štítkové údaje, či sa zhodujú s požadovaným výrobkom. Dodávateľ musí informovať ostatných dodávateľov stavby o umiestnení vykurovacej jednotky a o rizikách z toho vyplývajúcich. Plocha musí byť po celom obvode oddelená od zvislých konštrukcií dilatačnou škárou (polystyrén, mirelon apod., hr. do 10 mm).
2 In case that cables are laid in an area larger than 20 m 2 or with a diagonal greater than 7 m, it is necessary to account for expansion of the foundation materials (expansion unit max. 25 m 2 for mats up to 80 W/m 2 ). The heating cable may not cross the expansion joints. The non- heating connecting cables located at the expansion joints must be laid loosely in a protective tube. Materials used in finishing the floor surface (glue for tiles, carpet, parquets, etc.) must be approved by their respective manufacturers for use on floors under thermal stress. Any manner of use different from those specified in this user guide should be consulted with the manufacturer. Pri kladení na plochu väčšiu než 20 m 2 alebo s uhlopriečkou väčšou než 7 m je nevyhnutné rešpektovať dilatáciu podkladových materiálov (dilatačný celok max. 25 m 2 pri vodičoch do 80W/m 2 ). Vykurovací vodič nesmie prechádzať cez dilatačné škáry. Pripojovacie nevykurovacie vodiče musia byť v mieste dilatačných škár volne uložené v ochrannej rúrke. Prechod všetkých inštalácií studený koniec, sonda termostatu zo steny do podlahy musia byť urobené v inštalačných rúrkach a umožňovať vzájomný pohyb podlahy a steny. Nepoužitím dostatočnej vrstvy tepelnej izolácie pod vykurovacím systémom sa vystavujete riziku značných tepelných strát smerom dole. Doporučená tepelná izolácia je mm extrudovaného polystyrénu a obdobne tepelne izolujúcich materiálov. Vodič nesmie byť kladený pod zariaďovacie predmety, ako aj pod nábytok neumožňujúci voľné prúdenie vzduchu. Vzdialenosť vykurovacej časti vodiča od steny nemá byť menšia ako 50mm. Pri uvádzaní vodiča do chodu musia byť jednotlivé vrstvy vyzreté viď. návod a doporučenie výrobcu hmoty. Materiály používané na zušľachtenie povrchu podlahy (lepidlo na dlažbu, koberec, parkety apod.) musí mať doporučenie od výrobcu, že sú určené pre tepelne namáhané podlahy. Iné použitie než je v tomto návode konzultujte s výrobcom.
3 1. Description and connection The heating cables should be connected to a 230V, 50Hz electric network. Degree of protection: IP67. The protective braiding is to be connected to the PE protective conductor. CONSTRUCTION: Core: stranded resistance wire Insuletion: cross- linked polyethylene (XLPE) - 1mm thickeness Protective braiding: 14 tinned copper wires Ø 0,3mm + AIPET foil Jacket: PVC 105 C thickness 0,8mm 1. Use for floor heating in residential buildings, houses, workshops, and restrooms a) Dimensioning If the floor heating is intended to be used to warm the floor surface for short intervals, we recommend that the heating cable be installed close to the floor surface within the upper limit of the recommended outputs W/m 2. If the floor heating is to be used to heat a room, it is necessary to know the thermal loss value for the building to select the most suitable heating system. The installed output should correspond to a multiple of 1.1 to 1.3 times the calculated thermal loss due to the maximum recommended outputs (see table below). An additional heating device must be used (for example, convector ECOFLEX or ATLANTIC). 2. Použitie pre mierne akumulačné a poloakumulačné podlahové vykurovanie a) Dimenzovanie Ak ide o vykurovanie miestnosti, tak pre správnu voľbu vykurovacieho systému musíme poznať hodnotu tepelných strát objektu. Inštalovaný príkon by mal zodpovedať 1,1 až 1,3 násobku vypočítaných tepelných strát z dôvodu max. doporučených výkonov (viď. TAB), musí sa použiť prídavné vykurovanie (napr. konvektor ECOFLEX alebo ATLANTIC). Doporučený plošný príkon pre poloakumulačné vykurovanie je v rozmedzí W/m 2. 4 b) Installation system with moderate accumulation of heat INSTALLATION INTO CONCRETE (self- levelling screed) Firstly, read General conditions. In the case of fixing of the heating cable directly to thermal insulation (only extruded polystyrene), higher input than 160W/m2 must not be installed. Concrete mixture has to be compacted to such extent that no air bubbles, caverns etc. are present in the layer and so that it ensures perfect contact with the heating cable. The compacting has to be performed carefully and manually, so that the cable is not damaged. In no case it is possible to use immersion vibrators. The concrete mixture must contain so- called plastifiers. In the course of concreting, it is necessary to pay attention to the fact that a break longer than 60 minutes results in an imperfect uniting of areas being concreted. So, in the case of longer pause, it is necessary to create an adhesive connecting bridge, for example by means of penetration or in another way. Be careful when installing the reinforcing grid not to damage the cable insulation. PROCEDURE Lay the thermal insulation to damp- proof base. Unroll the heating cable to the shape of meander, according to required output. Attach the heating cable directly to the thermal insulation, so that it cannot move in the course of concreting, for example with using of Grufast tape or plastic cable clips. Measure the resistance of heating circuit and leakage - differential current, record the measured values in the Certificate of Warranty. Pour concrete to the cable up to required thickness. After the completion of concreting work, perform the measurements again and record measured values in the Certificate of Warranty. The mat may be put into operation only after 28 days, after full maturity of the concrete. b) Montáž mierne akumulačný systém INŠTALÁCIA DO BETÓNU (samonivelačné hmoty) Najprv si prečítajte Všeobecné podmienky. V prípade fixácie vykurovacieho vodiča priamo na tepelnú izoláciu (len extrudovaný polystyrén) nesmie byť inštalovaný príkon väčší než 160W/m2. Betónová zmes musí byť natoľko zhutnená, aby vrstva neobsahovala vzduchové bubliny, kaverny apod. a zaisťovala dokonalý kontakt s vykurovacím vodičom. Hutniť je nutné opatrne, ručne, aby nedošlo k poškodeniu vodiča. V žiadnom prípade nepoužívať ponorné vibrátory. Betónová zmes musí obsahovať tzv. plastifikátory. Pri betónovaní je nutné dbať na skutočnosť, že pri prestávke dlhšej než 60 minút sa betónované plochy dokonale nespoja. Preto pri dlhšej prestávke je nutné vytvoriť adhezívny spojovací mostík, napr. penetráciou alebo iným spôsobom. Pri inštalácii armovacieho železa je nutné dať pozor, aby nedošlo k poškodeniu izolácie vodiča. POSTUP Na hydroizolovaný podklad položte tepelnú izoláciu. Rozviňte vykurovací vodič v tvare meandra, podľa požadovaného výkonu. Vykurovací vodič fixujte priamo na tepelnú izoláciu tak, aby sa pri betonáži nemohol pohnúť, napr. páskou Grufast alebo Plastovou príchytkou vodiča. Premerajte odpor vykurovacieho okruhu a unikajúci rozdielový prúd, zapíšte do Záručného listu. Vodič zalejte vrstvou betónu do požadovanej výšky, po skončení betonárskych prác opäť premerajte a zapíšte do Záručného listu. Rohož uveďte do prevádzky najskôr po 28 dňoch, po úplnom vyzretí betónu. 5 PROCEDURE: Cover the hydro- insulated foundation with a thermalinsulation layer, then cover this layer with a 4 cm layer of concrete. Allow the concrete to set fully. Clean the concrete area, remove any sharp objects and coat it using a suitable penetrating solution. Place the heating cable in an open- looping pattern in accordance with the required output. Fix the heating cable (e.g., using Grufast fastening strips) so that it cannot move during further concreting. In humid spaces, connect the protective braiding of the cable to the protective grounding connection for the room. Measure the resistance of the heating circuit and the insulation resistance and record the measured values in the certificate of warranty. Cover the cable with a concrete layer up to the required height. After concreting is finished, measure the resistance values again and record them in the certificate of warranty. Wait at least 28 days after installation before putting the mat into operation, so that the concrete will be set fully. Materials used in finishing the floor surface (glue for tiles, carpet, parquets, etc.) must be approved by their respective manufacturers for use on floors under thermal stress. POSTUP poloakumulačný systém Na hydroizolovaný podklad položte tepelnú izoláciu, na izolácii vytvorte 4cm vrstvu betónu. Betón nechajte vyzrieť. Betónovú vrstvu očistite a zbavte ostrých predmetov a natrite penetračným náterom. Rozviňte vykurovací vodič v tvare meandra, podľa požadovaného výkonu. Vykurovací vodič fixujte tak, aby sa pri ďalšej betonáži nemohol pohnúť, napr. páskou Grufast. Vo vlhkých priestoroch spojte ochranné opletenie vodiča s ochranným pospojovaním miestnosti. Premerajte odpor vykurovacieho okruhu a izolačný odpor a zapíšte do Záručného listu. Vodič zalejte vrstvou betónu do požadovanej výšky, po skončení betonárskych prác opäť premerajte a zapíšte do Záručného listu. Rohož uveďte do chodu najskôr po 28 dňoch, po úplnom vyzretí betónu. Materiály používané na zušľachtenie povrchu podlahy (lepidlo na dlažbu, koberec, parkety apod.) musí mať doporučenie od výrobcu, že sú určené pre tepelne namáhané podlahy. For floors where exceeding the hygienic limit of 27 C is not anticipated, or for floors in rooms occupied for only short intervals (bathroom, lavatory, corridor) with surface area output of up to 160 W/m 2, it is optional to use the thermostat s limiting floor probe. For all other applications, the thermostat must be equipped with a floor probe with the maximum temperature set to 35 C. For semi- accumulating floor heating, a thermostat with a floor probe is required c) Regulácia Na reguláciu použite termostat z aktuálnej ponuky firmy FENIX. Pri podlahách, kde sa nepredpokladá prekročenie hygienickej hranice 27 C alebo ide o krátkodobo obývané miestnosti (kúpelňa, WC, chodba) s plošným príkonom do 160 W/m 2 nie je podmienkou limitujúca podlahová sonda termostatu. Pri všetkých ostatných aplikáciách musí byť termostat vybavený podlahovou sondou s max. nastavením 35 C. Pri poloakumulačnom podlahovom vykurovaní je nevyhnutný regulátor s podlahovou sondou.
6 d) Accelerating the warming of heating floors FOR HEATING MAT LAID IN A CONCRETE LAYER Wait at least 4 6 weeks after installation before putting the mat into operation, so that the concrete will be set fully. On the first day, set the temperature of the floor to be the same as the temperature in the room (maximum 18 C). In the following days, increase the temperature in increments of 2 C per day up to 28 C. Maintain the temperature of 28 C for three days. Then, decrease the temperature of the floor by 5 C per day until you reach the initial temperature. Afterwards, you can set the desired temperature and put the floor into normal operation. d) Nábehy vykurovacích podláh ULOŽENIE VO VRSTVE BETÓNU Vykurovacia podlaha sa uvádza do prevádzky až po riadnom vytvrdnutí betónu po 4 6 týždňoch. Prvý deň nastaviť teplotu podlahy zhodnú s teplotou v miestnosti (maximálne 18 C). Nasledujúce dni zvyšovať teplotu podlahy postupne o 2 C/deň až na 28 C. Teplotu podlahy udržovať na teplote 28 C po dobu troch dní. Následne znižovať teplotu podlahy o 5 C denne pokým nedosiahne počiatočnú teplotu. Potom je možné teplotu podlahy nastaviť na požadovanú a uviesť podlahu do bežnej prevádzky. 3. Moderate heating of piping to provide antifrost protection The heating cables placed on metal or plastic pipes prevent liquid in the pipes from freezing when outside temperatures are below 0 C. The heating cables may also be used to heat or maintain a certain temperature in the pipes up to 60 C. 3. Použitie na protimrazovú ochranu a na vyhrievanie potrubí Vykurovacie vodiče umiestnené na kovové alebo plastové potrubie poskytujú ochranu pred zamŕzaním kvapalín v potrubí pri okolitých teplotách nižších ako 0 C. 7 b) Installation The heating cables and sensor must be affixed to the pipe along its entire length using alu num selfadhesive tape, which ensures that the heat is distributed evenly. The temperature sensor must be placed on the coldest point of the pipe. After completing installation, the entire pipe including the heating cables must be covered with insulation. The thickness of the insulation must be the same along the entire length of the pipe. Should the sensor be insulated more than other parts of the pipe, the pipe could freeze. If the sensor is insulated less than other parts of the pipe, the heating cable could overheat. To protect plastic pipe, first cover the pipe with aluminum foil and then seal the cable along its entire length using aluminum tape. When installing the heating circuit, please bear in mind that valves, connections and flanges have greater thermal loss. Therefore, it is necessary to wind the cable in these parts in a closely- spaced manner. b) Montáž Vykurovacie vodiče a senzor sa musia k potrubiu pripevniť po celej dĺžke hliníkovou samolepiacou páskou, ktorá zaručí rovnomerné rozloženie tepla. Senzor teploty musí byť umiestnený na najchladnejšom mieste potrubia. Po montáži je nutné celé potrubie vrátane vykurovacích vodičov obaliť izoláciou. Hrúbka izolácie musí byť po celej dĺžke potrubia rovnomerná, pretože v prípade, že by senzor bol zaizolovaný viac než iné časti potrubia, mohlo by dochádzať k zamŕzaniu potrubia. V prípade, že by senzor bol zaizolovaný menej, dochádzalo by k prehrievaniu vykurovacieho vodiča. V prípade ochrany plastového potrubia, najskôr potrubie obaľte do hliníkovej fólie (alobal) a vodič v celej dĺžke prelepte hliníkovou páskou. Pri inštalácii je nutné brať do úvahy, že ventily, spojky a príruby majú väčšie tepelné straty. Preto je potrebné na tieto časti navinúť vodič hustejšie.
8 c) Regulation For economical operation and safety, it is necessary to install a thermostat with a remote probe placed on the pipe. We recommend using a KABLOREG A1-4, OJ ETV or EBERLE ITR3. Each of these is currently available at FENIX. When using the heating cable to prevent freezing, always set the thermostat to 3 5 C. 4. Warranty, claims ECOFLOOR, supplier of the cable circuits, provides a warranty period of 24 months for the product s functionality, beginning from the date of its installation that is confirmed in the certificate of warranty (installation must be made at latest within 6 months from the date of purchase), provided that: a certificate of warranty and proof of purchase are submitted, the procedure described in this user guide has been followed, data on laying and connecting the cable in the floor and the resulting measured values of the insulation resistance of the heating cable are provided, and the procedure for applying the sealing cement specified by its producer has been followed. Claims may be made in writing at the company that performed the installation, or directly to the manufacturer Provided that the aforementioned conditions were met and the warranty period has expired, the conditions under the claims procedure, clause 5, applies for an additional period of 3 years. The claims procedure also is available at the website c) Regulácia Z hľadiska úspornej prevádzky a bezpečnosti je potrebné inštaláciu vybaviť termostatom s oddelenou sondou umiestnenou na potrubí. Z aktuálnej ponuky firmy FENIX doporučujeme KABLOREG A1-4, OJ ETV alebo EBERLE ITR3. Pri použití vodiča pre nezamŕzajúcu teplotu nastavujeme vždy na termostate teplotu 3 5 C. 4. Záruka, reklamácie Dodávateľ vodičových okruhov ECOFLOOR poskytuje záruku na ich funkčnosť po dobu 24 mesiacov odo dňa inštalácie potvrdenej na záručnom liste (inštalácia musí byť zrealizovaná maximálne 6 mesiacov od dátumu predaja) ak je: doložený záručný list a doklad o zakúpení, dodržaný postup podľa tohto návodu, doložené údaje o skladbe vodiča v podlahe, zapojení a výsledkoch meraní izolačného odporu vykurovacieho vodiča, dodržaný návod výrobcu na aplikáciu tmelov. Reklamácia sa uplatňuje písomne u firmy, ktorá realizovala inštaláciu, pripadne priamo u výrobcu. Pri dodržaní vyššie uvedených podmienok a po uplynutí záručnej doby platia po dobu ďalších 3 rokov podmienky podľa reklamačného poriadku, bod č. 5.
