2 Day 1 Welcome aboard Thomas Cook s exciting and comprehensive tour to Vietnam and Cambodia. Overnight in Hanoi the Capital City of Vietnam. Today start your fun filled tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. On arrival into Hanoi you will be greeted by your friendly Thomas Cook Tour Manager / local representative outside the baggage hall area at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Hanoi - Vietnam s capital, is a stylish and gracious city that retain an unique old world charm and some Asia s most striking colonial architecture. Tonight enjoy a delicious Dinner at Local Indian Restaurant. Overnight at Sunway Hanoi Hotel or similar in Hanoi. Day 2 Hanoi a city of a 1000 years old capital. Visit the Ba Dinh Square and the Ho chi Minh Mausoleum. After Breakfast at your hotel, drive to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. Visit Ba Dinh Square, where The Late President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnams Independence in 1945, Ho Chi Minh s Mausoleum and continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, the must-see monument in Hanoi. It is an ancient Buddhist pagoda, built in the early 11th century in the reign of King Ly Thai Tong, all construction supported by only one pillar, resembling a Buddhist lotus. 3 Day 5 Onward to Siem Reap the getway to the Angkor Region. Proceed for an exciting City tour of Siem Reap including the Prasat Kravan and Ta Prohm. After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Arrive and proceed on an exciting city tour of Siem Reap; visit Prasat Kravan with its unique brick sculptures and Ta Prohm. One of the area s most beautiful temples, Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Visit Takeo, Chau Say Tevoda and Thommanon. Post Lunch, visit the Preah Khan temple, built by the King Jayavarman VII, is a place of towered enclosures and shoulders-hanging corridors. Continue your visits to Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool and representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake and visit the temple of Ta Som as well as Srah Srang The Royal Baths, undoubtedly used in the past for ritual bathing. Angkor was the capital of Khmer. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat s five towers symbolize Meru s five peaks - the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond. After lunch, visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom, South Gate of Angkor Thom. Also visit the Bayon Temple famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. In the event that the group size is less than 25 passengers you will be given on option of travelling on seat-in-coach basis, by paying an additional supplement. Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to increase in surface transportation and land arrangements which may come into effect prior to departure. Tips to hotel waiters, drivers, etc. Meals are pre-set and a choice of menu is not available. Cost of excursions, city sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides availed of by the passenger other than those included in the What your Tour Price Includes box are to be paid for extra. POINTS TO BE NOTED It is advisable to book 35 days prior to the departure date as the internal ticket rate might increase closer to the departure date, resulting in an increase in the Tour cost. Passengers joining this tour directly must travel to / from their hub city on their own expense. The air fare is based on the fare structure existing as of 01 July, Any further increase in the air fare due to an increase in fuel price, change in Government regulations, Ticket taxes etc charged by the airline will have to be borne by the passenger. Thomas Cook will not be held responsible for the same. Meals at all the destinations are pre-set and a-la- carte is not possible. Porterage is not included in the package and the clients will have to carry their bags on their own. Any damage caused to the hotel rooms or coach during the stay shall be payable by the passengers. 7 same. We reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure; excursion advertised or substitute a hotel of similar class if deemed necessary. The cost of extension of validity of ticket is not included in Tour price. For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary. However all services will remain the same. Due to Trade Fairs and conventions in the cities, it is possible that the hotel accommodation provided would be outside the city. The same will be informed in advance. Hotels mentioned are subject to availablity. Passengers can board the tour from the hub city. Those boarding from any other city can do so, however all expenses to/from the hub city is to be borne by the passengers. There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing etc. not utilized on your tour. The Company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, delay, breakdown or irregularity which may occur in carrying out of the tour arrangement. The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses due to delay or changes in the schedule of trains, flights, coach, cruise or other services, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expenses must be borne by the passenger.
