2 Why choosing Seguin? For the quality of the cast iron, to achieve such a perfect quality, our founders fully respect the work instructions that Seguin requires. All the fireboxes are manufactured with pure cast iron. For the technical assets, Seguin fireboxes reach an efficiency of 72% to 75% thanks to the valve in the smoke flue. This valve is adjustable for an optimal functioning whatever the types of flues used. The valve control system prevents the opening of the door when the valve is closed, which avoids smoke exits in the room. For the reliability, the control systems are assembled with safety nuts to avoid any risks of blocking or loosening. The retractable doors are equipped with chains and lubricated cogwheels which ensure a good alignment and a silent handling. For the comfort, Seguin fireboxes are equipped with a glass cleaning system by air sweeping on the four sides of the glasses to avoid all cleaning constraints. For the design, doors decorative frames are made of solid brass or stainless steel. For the guarantee, all Seguin fireboxes have a seven years guarantee. For the double combustion, more efficiency, wood saving, reduction of emissions for the protection of the environment and the comfort of the user.

Secondary stage : the supply of oxygen in the combustion chamber generates the inflammation of these gases which then release additional energy. This system is available on the whole range of Seguin cast iron fireboxes. THE SECONDARY COMBUSTION A new generation of appliances even more efficient The patented system DAFS provides even more efficiency thanks to the supply of oxygen by preheated air jets that are ideally located at the back of the combustion chamber. The level of performance is even more advanced: more efficiency, wood saving and reduction of emissions for the protection of the environment. WARNING CLEANER GLASSES Visually, the comfort is even more superior: The quality of the combustion is better (less wastes and smokes) Thanks to the air flow, the flames are attracted at the back of the fireboxes.
