8 Student Duties (1) When entering the dormitory, use your student ID to open the door Respect quiet hours : 22:00 6:00 Keep your unit s door closed No parties When someone comes to you and complains about noise you are making, keep it down Receptionist can call security or police Random security checks every night

11 Student Duties (3) Smoking is prohibited (including balcony!) Do not to smoke in the halls of residence, except areas approved by the Manager of the Hall of residence and DAF director No parties at dorms The dormitory s residents must refrain from making noise during night hours, i.e. between 22:00 and 6:00.In particular during that time no musical instrument may be played, no loud entertainment and in fact no loud activity can be made.

14 When something breakes... Ask for The Book of Defects (KNIHA ZÁVAD) at the reception Anything that needs to be repaired you can give information to receptionist and he will write it down The repairman will visit you as soon as possible

15 Wi-fi connection Got an from the IT Department to your UNIVERSITY - please, check the university account regularly!! eduroam wireless network is available The wireless connection is meant to be supplementary and it does not provide all the options (e.g. IPTV does not work). Some devices (especially smartphones and tablets) have small antenna and therefore can be a problem get connected to the Wi-Fi eduroam. In all rooms, a data socket is provided; for each resident is one socket

18 Steps on How to Do Laundry 1. Make a reservation at the reception possible to use washing machine from 8:00 a.m. till 11 p.m. 2. Before laundering pick up the key from the laundry room at the reception pay the 30 CZK fee for 3 hours leave your dormitory card at the reception until you finish your laundry 3. Do your laundry Washing machines are labeled with a number; you are only allowed to use the one you paid for 4. After laundering return the key at the reception

21 Payment Pay the whole amount (according to your Accommodation Agreement (AA) Cash Branch of Česká spořitelna (bank) at VŠE - no additional fees!
