2 Kazakhstan in the competition for global transit The advancing development of national transport infrastructure is the key to success of competitiveness of transit corridors of Kazakhstan In global transit of shipping in the China Europe direcvon the forecast by 2020 will make about 17 million TEU (170 million tons), in , 7 million TEU (117 million tons). Growth of transportavons - 45%. The aim is to afract 8% (1,5 million TEU, 15 million tons) of this freight traffic. 10 Elimination of remarks of ICAO audit Taken measures in 2013: 1. The Law is adopted, 80 amendments were made, 33 legal documents were approved; 2. The structure of Civil AviaTon Commikee was brought into accord with recommendatons of ICAO: а) the staff was increased from 54 Tll 65, 40 of them are inspectors (the status of "the state inspector" has been defined in the Law); б) The salary for state inspectors was increased up to 117%; В) Salary of the state inspectors from 167 to thousand KZT. Elimination of remarks of ICAO audit 18% April 10 the limits on flights to EU countries from Air Astana air company were lived. May 27 June 4 - mission of ICAO for check of eliminaton of remarks of audit of 2009 is carried out. The staff was increased up to 75 workers, 53 of them are the state inspectors; September visit of the Secretary General of ICAO. November partcipaton in a meetng of Commikee for flight safety of European Commission. Removal of restrictions for flights to EU countries Measures for 2014: Expected result 9
