ERTS UCH operates its own independent HM Revenue and Customs approved ERTS facility operating a 24 hour, 7 days a week services. SEA FREIGHT We provide a sea freight collection and delivery service. Our fleet includes vehicles specifically equipped to carry 20ft and 40ft sea freight containers. We also have on-site facilities for loading and devanning the containers. SA DAY We provide a fast, efficient and reliable same day delivery service throughout the UK. Whether your consignment is time critical, valuable or confidential, we can provide you with a dedicated service to ensure your freight gets there on time. All our drivers are trained to Level D airport security standards, as required by the Department for Transport (DfT), and have an excellent knowledge of the UK road network, supported by the latest in-cab information systems. We monitor every stage of your delivery from pick-up to arrival and will inform you immediately of any unforeseen delays. You can also track your consignment through our Track & Trace facility available via our website. European and Irish dedicated vehicles available on request. NEXT DAY LIVERY UCH Logistics is a national airfreight carrier. We specialise in next working day deliveries or collections across the UK mainland. A number of premium add-ons are available to complement this service: AM, PM, timed services Cash on Delivery (D) service Delivery/collection of hazardous goods (subject to class and transport category) Tail-lift deliveries Curtain-sider deliveries X-RAY / rest / ETD We have the facility to make unknown cargo known through our Primary/ Secondary screening services. All relevant security documents are provided by us as stipulated by the DfT. WAREHOUSI UCH is equipped with the facilities to efficiently receive, handle and despatch all types of goods and our flexible warehouse space can be customised to accommodate a client s specific requirements. Our 70,000 sq ft of warehouse space is conveniently located at Heathrow Airport with excellent access to all major motorway networks. 6 General information All services detailed here are based on a five day working week, excluding ank and Public holidays. Consignments on weekends and holidays can be arranged with our operations staff, subject to special rates. All consignments are subject to a standard volume charge of 6m³ = 1000kgs. All hazardous cargo must be indicated as hazardous when booked, and all relevant documentation must be included with the shipment or it will not be handled. Hazardous freight must also always be palletised. False calls are charged in full, according to the booked weight or volume (whichever is greater). Airline/ond collections for onward delivery the following working day are free of charge. Please note we cannot guarantee Airline or ond collections will be collected before midnight unless we receive written notice prior to the booking. Delivery into an Airline/ond will be subject to our Export tariff. Collections from one area for onward delivery to another will be charged as separate jobs (one for collection, one for delivery), unless prior arrangement is made for a special delivery (where possible due to location). Saturday import collections are arranged as specials only. Waiting times will be charged as per our tariff. Service Details NEXT DAY Normal working day delivery or collection between 9am & 5pm. Freight Sizes We will cover freight up to 2 metres long, 1.2 metres wide and 1.7 metres high, and up to 750kgs or 6 cubic metres on our standard tariff. Any freight in excess of these dimensions can be handled subject to specific arrangement. In addition, any consignment needing a curtainsider, tail-lift or any other special consideration will be subject to prior arrangement and quotation. Special LIVERY SERvices SA DAY We offer competitive rates for same day deliveries or collections. DICATED VEHICLE SERVICE UCH can also offer the use of a single, dedicated vehicle for delivery or collection of your consignment, subject to prior arrangement and vehicle availability. Rates for both of the above are subject to prior arrangement with a member of our operations staff. False Calls Our vehicle timetables are organised by location and the greater of either weight or volume, and are subject to strict deadlines for both deliveries and collections. Where a vehicle arrives at a collection location and the freight is not available or cancelled without reasonable notice, this can cause a major delay and jeopardise several consignment deadlines. This also applies to refused deliveries, with the added issue that the refused cargo then has to be kept on the vehicle, limiting load space and vehicle availability. In such instances, we must not only charge for the aborted job, but also any reduced availability or time.
