3 dear colleagues, We are delighted to welcome you to Thessaloniki for the first annual Symposium Update on Infections and Sepsis in the I.C.U. which is going to be held between 16 and 18 of October The Scientific program of this Symposium promises to enlighten the current knowledge on the diagnostic approach and therapeutic treatment of the septic patient with up-to-date information, delivered by a group of outstanding invited speakers. We hope that this Symposium is going to be a great opportunity for physicians, nurses and other health care professionals to exchange views on serious medical and surgical infections and the septic patient, under the light of the latest research on these topics. Website The official website of the Symposium is: Accreditation The Symposium has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACMME-UEMS) with 18 CME-CPd credits. Each participant should claim only those hours of credit that he/ she actually attended. According to 81867/ EOF (National Organization for Medicines) each delegate must attend the 60% of total hours of the Scientific Programme. Deliver the evaluation feedback form to the Symposium Secretariat at the end of the Symposium.
