3 PIR-polycrystalline IR fibers PIR-polycrystalline IR fiber is providing a unique solution for fiber optics in the Mid IR Region. PIR-polycrystalline fiber optics are transparent in a wide spectral range (4-18um). PIR-Polychrystalline fiber is very flexible and durable over a wide temperature range ( deg C). PIR-polycrystalline fiber is produced by an innovative vacuum extrusion method from pure AgCl: AgBr solid solution crystals in a core clad structure. Innovative PIR-cable termination technology enables the assemblies to withstand vibration and temperature cycling over the -50 to 100 deg C range. PIR cable are available to meet the requirements of CO2 laser power delivery and also remote IR sensing. 1. Fiber Diameter (standard) 2. Transmission Range 3. Attenuation at 10.6um 4.
