2 Introduction Optimus HCM suite is an end to end HR solution required in a typical SME enterprise, at the same time the flexibility of the product allows you to customize to any existing ERP platform. It is a modern product built with years of consulting experience in large scale ERPs. The product is functionally fullyloaded to keep the users at awe with its ERP footprint across depth and breadth. Optimus HCM consists of six core functional modules that cover 360 degree of needs for today s HR department. Core HR - A comprehensive module with a well-constructed Personal Model helps you manage the lifecycle of an Employee. It provides the ability to accommodate history-data and centralized information ensures much needed integration with other modules. It includes Biographical Information, Position Management, Reporting Hierarchy, Employment History, Compensation, Grades. Benefits - A simple and configurable Benefits Module adds value to HCM by giving an opportunity for Organizations to tailor the Benefits Enrollment as per requirement. It includes Benefits Program Management, Vendor Management, multiple Plan types and Benefit Plans. Absence Management - The framework approach used in Absence Management provides the ability to configure the most complex functionality of Leave Entitlements and at the same time presents the simplest ways for Leaves and Approvals. In this module we have a detailed data capturing capability which is a mandatory requirement for HR department. Payroll - A Globally configurable framework that gives an unparalleled feature set to configure and manage even the most complex payroll processing requirements. It includes multi-location configuration, Pay slip printing, statutory reports, integrated with Absence and Benefits. Appraisals - The Appraisals module has been built with a clear focus to bring in best practices for Appraisal Management, which is a key feature of any Organization to address Employee Retention. The module includes KRAs, Measurement Criteria, Weightage, Accomplishments, Competencies, Evaluation, Grading, Bell Curve Reporting and Rewards. The process covers two performance appraisal cycles 1) Annual Appraisal 2) End of Probation Appraisal
3 Recruitment The process of finding and hiring the best qualified candidate for a job opening, in a timely and cost effective manner requires an effective tool support. This module covers the entire process starting from vacancy creation to offer letter generation for the selected candidates. It has a seamless integration to Core HR to minimize data entry. FUNCTIONAL ARCHITECTURE Training - In any organization skill upgrade is one of the most important and all time need, this module will help Organization to plan, budget and execute the training needs of the employees. It includes Catalog Management, Infrastructure Management, Training Calendar, and Evaluation. Optimus HCM follows a closely integrated modular approach covering the entire gamut of activities under the HR function. The following diagram provides a high-level overview of the various modules provided by the product. The major elements of the product can be split into three major segments, viz features, reports and alerts. Features are the core functional elements of the product. The comprehensive set of pre-packaged reports provides a solid analytic edge to the product. Alerts are an extra layer of functionality that comes inbuilt with the product whereby going one step-higher to inform the user of certain key events and actionable items.
