2 Recruitment Management Program (RMP) The RMP is a customizable recruitment service from. You can receive the expertise needed to make your organization s recruitment a success without the cost or risks of a full-fledged recruitment firm. Hiring the wrong person can be detrimental to the health of the organization. Hiring and retaining the right people is an important driver of competitive advantage and can help a company achieve its goals. 3 ENGAGE Advantage Helpdesk The ENGAGE Advantage Helpdesk is a dedicated client telephone line that provides Members with immediate access to our qualified HR Professionals for information, assistance and counsel relating to an extensive variety of HR and people-management situations. Illustration of Helpdesk Usage Achieve and maintain legislative compliance Hire the right person for the job Resolve conflicts and improve the relationships within your team Manage performance issues, at the individual, team or firm wide level Maximize employee engagement, and productivity Introduce, communicate and manage a change initiative Recognize and reward your people fairly and appropriately Deal with employee performance issues Select appropriate disciplinary action Develop best employer practices Build and maintain fair compensation practices Effectively manage employee absenteeism and medical leaves Handle employee complaints successfully Appropriately respond to human rights complaints Develop and implement HR policies, programs and practices The IBAO supports its Members by funding 1-hour of HR consulting each month via the ENGAGE Advantage Helpdesk. Any additional time is billed directly to the Member at Preferred Member Rates, which equates to 10% off of our standard rates. The ENGAGE Advantage Helpdesk can help keep your organization on track and efficiently manage any HR issue. Our team has a thorough knowledge of current HR issues, strategies, best practices & policies. In fact, we teach HR at some of Canada s top business schools. With the ENGAGE Advantage Helpdesk, organizations of any size can have the exceptional internal capabilities that all companies strive for. As we offer HR support that can be called upon whenever needed, brokerages can be more efficient with a smaller internal HR footprint. 4 Values Fit Surveys (VFS) The VFS process is designed to help Members assess organizational culture from a values perspective and leverage their culture to improve business operations. In addition to aiding in the hiring of the right people that fit their organization, this helps develop and maintain a consistent organizational culture that can support and sustain a competitive advantage. The process is made up of three online surveys that have upfront costs and optional components that add even more value. Organizational Culture Survey (OCS) This key survey provides a baseline of an organization s culture and a benchmark of the values that potential candidates should possess, and current employees should be supporting and practicing. This survey becomes the benchmark comparator for all other parts of the organization. Completed by the senior management team Recommended every 2 to 5 years or following a major management change This module is required before a CFS or EOS can be completed Includes summary of recommendations Includes a management summary presentation and debrief o Up to 1 hour o Subject to travel and mileage fees if on-site Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) This critical tool helps to gauge overall employee alignment with the organization s culture and highlights areas for improvement to support better results. This is fundamental tool for organization culture assessments Recommended every 1 to 2 years Includes standard survey oversight and management Includes a customized introduction to instruction system for employees Includes analysis and report Includes a management review and presentation o Up to 2 hours o Subject to travel and mileage fees if on-site OCS is required prior to an EOS being completed Candidate Fit Survey (CFS) A great tool to assess a potential candidate s suitability with the organization s culture. This survey helps support the hiring of better fit candidates, along with appropriate candidate screening, behavioural focused interviews and professional reference checks. The CFS includes a standard analysis and report for each candidate Comparison and recommendation report available OCS is required prior to a CFS being completed $ HST - Principal comparator report available (add $199/principal) - Survey customization available (extra fees apply) $ HST - Location/Division breakout available ($199 per location or division) $ HST / Candidate - Candidate fit comparison and analysis report available ($299 - Up to 3 candidates who have completed the CFS) Custom VFS content can also be developed, and mapped to specific Association needs. 5 Affinity Programs Consulting Services For Members who may not be ready to commit to an ongoing support program, but require assistance with a specific project, ENGAGE HR offers flexible, needs based Consulting Services. has customized client solutions that work in line with organizational goals and values. Whether our clients need us to develop their solution from scratch, or tailor one of our program offerings to their specific needs, we partner with them to ensure they receive the service and deliverables to achieve their unique goals. Outsourcing Services We provide full-service HR outsourcing services to small and medium-sized businesses that have limited or no in-house HR resources. Our retainer-based outsourcing programs are completely customized to fit our clients needs and provide the level of support you desire. Outsourcing programs include ongoing management of all HR functions and activities as well as a regular or as-needed on-site presence, where geographically feasible. Members receive a 10% discount off standard rates through the Member Affinity Programs.
