3 Description of the construction project: In general, the project consists of the widening of the existing Taxilane Alpha from Taxiway Bravo north to Apron II to accommodate B operations. The work consists of two (2) main work areas: 1. Approximately 900m 2 pavement expansion to the east side of the existing Taxilane Alpha into the existing grassed areas bordered by the existing Taxilane Alpha and Apron II, and 2. Approximately 275m 2 pavement expansion to the west side of the existing Taxilane Alpha at the intersection of Taxilane Alpha and Taxiway Bravo. Refer to Drawing CS attached. Position and height of equipment (relative to runways & taxiways): Maximum Equipment Height = 5m Equipment to be operating in segregated construction zones on Apron II and Taxilane Alpha. All equipment and personnel are to maintain minimum setbacks from runways and taxiways. Work on runway strips and adjacent to taxiways: Construction will take place in segregated construction zones on Apron II and Taxilane Alpha. Approximately 900 sq.m. pavement expansion. Construction: 1. Construction confined to the area shown. 2. Construction access restricted to the route shown. 3. Active airside pavements adjacent to the construction area and access road to be swept clear of debris by the Contractor on a continuous basis. 4. Construction equipment restricted to 5.0m height within construction area. 5. Contractor to maintain minimum 45m clearance from Taxi B and Taxi D centrelines. Schedule: 1. Approximately 12 working days (Day Time Work from daily). Unserviceable / Closures: 1. Taxilane Alpha CLOSED west of Aircraft Stand 10 to Taxiway Bravo Taxilane Alpha Edgelighting UNSERVICEABLE west of Aircraft Stand Apron II Aircraft Stand 12 CLOSED. 3.
