2 HR WSQ Framework The Human Resource Workforce Skills Qualifications (HR WSQ) framework is a competency framework developed through a rigorous process of international research and consultation with HR practitioners, industry associations and economic agencies. It was launched in 2008 by the HR Manpower, Skills and Training Council (MSTC), and was updated in late 2010 to incorporate the latest developments in the HR industry. HR Professionals now have greater access to modular competency-based training that leads to the attainment of nationally recognised HR certifications and qualifications. This helps to facilitate career enhancement for HR Professionals. HR Administration Programme for Public Sector Executives (HAPPE) In partnership with Human Capital Singapore, these programmes help to equip Division 2 and 3 officers with the necessary skills to do well in HR in the public service. You may be an officer performing a HR function in your organisation or a non-hr officer who is interested in developing your capabilities in HR management. 3 Course Code : HRQ01 WSQ Administer Recruitment and Selection Process Objectives By the end of the programme, you would be able to: Manage recruitment and selection administrative requirements Check that all documentation and resources to support recruitment and selection activities are available for employees to access Record and retrieve documentation and information of recruitment and selection activities as required by employees and management Ensure confidentiality of administrative systems containing information relating to recruitment and selection Advise on recruitment and selection process Advise managers on the tools and resources available to support recruitment and selection activities Provide managers and employees with all necessary information and resources to conduct recruitment and selection activities Provide accurate information in response to enquiries regarding recruitment and selection processes Review recruitment and selection documentation Check that required documentation relating to recruitment and selection has been received and take appropriate actions to ensure completeness Generate reports on the outcomes of recruitment and selection activities Suggest improvements or efficiencies to the administration of the recruitment and selection process Venue Human Capital Singapore Fees $ per participant [Inclusive of Course Fee ($220), CSC Administration Fee ($60) and 7% GST)] Absentees will be charged the full course fee.

4 Course Code : HRQ02 WSQ Administer Performance Review Process Objectives By the end of the programme, you would be able to: Manage performance management administrative requirements Check that all tools and resources to support performance reviews are available for employees to access Record and retrieve results of performance reviews as required by employees and management Ensure confidentiality of administrative systems containing information relating to performance reviews Advise on performance management processess Advise managers on the tools and resources available to support performance reviews Provide managers and employees with all necessary support to conduct performance reviews Provide accurate information in response to enquiries regarding performance review processes Venue Human Capital Singapore Fees $ per participant [Inclusive of Course Fee ($220), CSC Administration Fee ($60) and 7% GST)] Absentees will be charged the full course fee. Review performance management documentation Check that required performance review documentation has been received and take appropriate actions to ensure submission where appropriate Generate reports on the outcomes of performance reviews Suggest improvements or efficiencies to the administration of the performance review process Ensure ongoing maintenance and adequacy of systems to store data or documentation from performance reviews

5 Course Code : HRQ03 WSQ Provide Training Administration Services Objectives By the end of the programme, you would be able to: Distribute training information Check that all information required to support the dissemination of training programmes are available for employees to access Communicate information regarding training programmes to appropriate employees Respond to employees queries and specific requirements regarding training programmes Arrange venue & resources Identify resources required to deliver training programmes Manage bookings of resources required to deliver training programmes Confirm resource bookings with trainers Venue Human Capital Singapore Fees $ per participant [Inclusive of Course Fee ($220), CSC Administration Fee ($60) and 7% GST)] Absentees will be charged the full course fee. Process training documentation and records Check that required documentation has been submitted in accordance with organisational requirements Generate reports on the outcomes of training programmes Suggest improvements to the administration of training systems Ensure ongoing maintenance and adequacy of system to store data or documentation from training programmes

6 Course Code : HRQ04 WSQ Support Organisational Events Objectives By the end of the programme, you would be able to: Participate in event planning and setup Identify costs and resource requirements associated with event, including any special requirements of participants, for review by the event manager Develop a detailed action plan, including contingency plans, for review by the event manager Participate in set-up of event and equipment as identified in the action plan Conduct Promotional activities Develop a communication and engagement plan to generate publicity and interest in the event using appropriate communication channels Conduct communication and engagement activities in accordance with policies and procedures Track responses for the event and recommend follow up actions if required Venue Human Capital Singapore Fees $ per participant [Inclusive of Course Fee ($220), CSC Administration Fee ($60) and 7% GST)] Absentees will be charged the full course fee. Follow up with post event activities Assist in the implementation of event activities Gather feedback and complete event close-out activities Report on success of events to appropriate supervisors and event managers and complete an event report

7 Allan Koh Has experience with consulting, implementation and training in various organizations including Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Land Transport Authority and Singapore Technologies Group of Companies. Was previously with Mobil Oil Singapore as the Regional Human Resource Advisor and was the Deputy Director of JTC Academy, where he was responsible for operations of Training, Personnel, and the Human Resource Office. He was also involved in organizational restructuring, which included job re-design and restructuring of sales, production and purchasing departments. Has a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from the University of Hull, UK and is certified as a career coach and counsellor by the University of Wollongong/Sydney Worklife Career Counseling Centre (Australia). He is also certified with a full Advanced Certificate in Training Assessment (ACTA). Our Facilitators
