The implications of changing a business number or porting to another supplier could be a business nightmare, however, this is no longer the case. If your customer already has Inbound Numbers with other providers, they can keep these existing numbers and gain the benefits of competitive charges as well as state of the art call handling solutions. We have porting agreements existing with BT, Cable & Wireless (incl. Energis) and Virgin Group (incl. NTL & Telewest). 7 03 Numbers for Non Profit Sectors 03 numbers cost the same as calls to geographic numbers (starting 01 or 02) but have different assigned purposes. 030 numbers are intended for public sector organisations with a.gov.uk or.nhs.uk website and not for profit organisations such as registered charities. 033 numbers are available for general business use and like 03 they enable customers to contact organisations for the price of a standard phone call, from anywhere in the UK.

Opal s Replay service is available for a little as 10/month with no set up fee, and offers call recording across multiple sites including homeworkers. Recordings can be stored long term and are easily retrieved via a secure web interface, providing peace of mind. Replay supports organisations dealing with monetary payments to meet FSA compliancy.

13 0870 National Presence 0870 provides national presence attracting business outside your usual area, expanding and winning new business and boosting sales. Ofcom legislation imposed from 1st August 2009 resulted in a change to the pricing of 0870 calls. Most 0870 calls are now charged at the same rate as calls to geographic number (01 & 02), and included in calls packages. Communication Providers can charge more, but are then bound by strict rules on how prices are publicised and are also responsible for making sure their customers know how much they will be charged for calling an 0870 number. Revenue share on 0870 numbers is no longer permitted.
