3 Experience: In 2012 I was commissioned by the Public Service Broadcasting Trust, India to make a film called Prabhat Pheri (feature length Docu- Fiction), a project attempting to revisit the ghosts of the Prabhat Studios (now the TV Institute ) through the memories of those to whom the space has been familiar since decades. This film will be premiered on Doordarshan (an Indian Television Channel) and showcased at various film festivals across the country. Last year the, Pune awarded me a financial scholarship for my performance through out the academic year and my film projects. Each year two direction students receive this scholarship from the Institute. My recent works, namely Moon Stars Lovers and Ate Roll have been showcased at various international film festivals. Moon Stars Lovers was one of the six films selected by University of Westminster for a research paper on contemporary experimental cinema inspired by and related to Vera Chytilova s (Czech New Wave Filmmaker) work. Festival History: Moon Stars Lovers Premiered at Bangkok International Students Film Festival 2012 in their Showcase Section. Special Mention at the Fujifilm Indradhanush Film Competition 2012 Official Selection Competition Section at METERS International Film Festival, Tver (Russia), in October Screened Online on International Women's Day as part of the Online Concert Series at Liveroom Shivnakaun Media Arts.

I spent a valuable semester there as an exchange student in the Masters of Fine Arts Program in Film Directing under a full academic scholarship. Recently I have been involved in the conceptualization and designing of an upcoming digital film website to be launched soon ( it is going to be a platform and database for digital filmmakers in India. Worked as the production designer and assistant director to Ms. Vaani Arora on a United Nations Population Fund Project, Do Duni Duniyan about negotiating contraception in rural and semi urban areas in India, in August- September Worked as production designer and assistant director on the film Teen Kahaniyan by Centre For Media and Alternate Communication (CMAC) for the NACO on AIDS awareness. I was appointed as a trainee under Mr. Sandeep Vij for an internship with Mudra Communications, Delhi as part of a team working on their new Corporate Image Monitor Magazine called Cirrus from June 20 th, 2007 to July 20 th, 2007.

5 Worked with HT City for their yearly Food Guide (2008) sponsored by ITC as a food reviewer and writer. Worked on a short film for NDTV Metronation (I Spy with my Digital Eye) on Exam Stress. This required me to conceptualize, script, shoot and edit the project as well. Volunteered with Ability Foundation as an official photographer to document their job fair (2008) aimed at encouraging equitable employment opportunities for specially- abled people. I got the opportunity to work with an online forum for the youth The Viewspaper ( as a photojournalist and part of their design team for a year. Since September 2006 I have been associated with Pravah through National Social Service Scheme and also worked with Manzil, an NGO working towards the education of under privileged children in Delhi. I took classes for mathematics and English for students of class 7 th and 10 th respectively. Have been receiving the Air Force merit scholarship since my class 10 th for maintaining a consistent academic record. I am a trained tarot card reader and have been professionally practicing for the past 10 years. Was part of the HBO Asia week and DU Beat for the same. Was awarded the first position in the ABSTRACT PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION: A piece of Reality, at IIT Delhi Annual Cultural Festival (RENDEZVOUS) 2007, judged by the Dean, Institute Of Photographic Excellence.

6 Was awarded the second position in the photography competition at Hindu College, Statistics Department festival (KURTOSIS). Won the third prize for photography in both LITMUS 2007 (English department Festival) and TARANG (College Festival) at Lady Shri Ram College. My photographs got the chance to be a part of various college level exhibitions like TARANG (LSR), FRAMES (St. Stephens), KMC annual cultural festival and SPECTRUM (NIFT). I have also worked on a photo essay, Oral History and the City Of Amritsar. Received the faculty prize for Meritorious Contribution to Photography at Lady Shri Ram College for the academic year I had the opportunity to attend one semester of the Video Communication Design program at the National Institute of Design (Ahmadabad, India) during the course of which I was part of several short film projects, workshops relating to film and presented papers on Calendar Art in India, Pedro Almadovar: His Films and the Human Body, Feminism and Fairy Tales.
