I graduated from the University of Arizona, majoring in Management Information Systems and Entrepreneurship and am currently attending Spokane Falls Community College for Graphic and Web Design. Spokane Community Colleges core values of student success, excellence, inclusiveness, and life-long learning exemplify an ideal culture in which to pursue my career of working in the web development and design field and I believe my qualifications make me a competitive candidate for this position. My background includes website development, social media marketing and design. In the last year I interned for Seven2 and Greater Spokane Incorporated as a web development intern as well as worked freelance for a variety of companies and non-profits. While at the University of Arizona, I worked at the Eller College of Management as Student Technical Lead. During this time, I worked with staff to convert it from ASP.net to Drupal as well as updated design elements to highlight pertinent information. Maintaining an up-to-date media presence requires drive, time management, and creativity, all of which I can bring to this position from my past experiences. Lastly, I have worked as an administrative assistant in various capacities for approximately 7 years. In this time, I learned important skills such as maintaining confidentiality with sensitive documents, identifying inefficiencies and designing creative solutions, and the ability to work both individually and as a team. I have passion for not only this position, but for the organization it represents as Spokane Community Colleges provides resources and tools for success in Spokane.
