HIGH SPEED THERMAL PRINTERS The patented MARKINGenius is a high speed desktop printer that can produce labels up to 15 times faster than a traditional pen plotter system. It uses thermal transfer technology to produce labels for terminal blocks, wires and cables, panel switches and pilot lights, name plates and complex equipment labels. The MARKINGenius can print black or over 4000 colors and does so without the maintenance and set-up problems associated with ink and pens. The high resolution printing can even print logos, drawings and clipart images down to very small dimensions. The clean noise free operation permits use in office environment. The Rolly 1000 is a very high speed thermal printer that prints on inexpensive reel labels for all types of industrial applications. With a high quality resolution of 300 dpi, the Rolly 1000 can print over 130,000 wire marker tags with just one ribbon at a rate of 1000 tags in less than two minutes. Ribbons are available in black and several other colors and the fact that the Rolly 1000 operates quietly and without pens or ink makes it ideal for use in any office environment. PEN PLOTTER The classical, inexpensive ink-pen plotter system has been used reliably in industrial applications for many years. The plotter system is ideal for small quantity print jobs and for use in the shop where you can maintain operation and print labels for terminal blocks, wire and cables markers, panel switches and pilot lights, name plates and labels. 4 THERMAL TRANSFER SYSTEM The Standard for Industrial Marking Systems MARKINGenius is an exclusive automated printing system, designed to satisfy all requirements for equipment identification in the electrical field according to CEI 16-7 ed standard. All media in the MARKINGenius range can be printed, with Windows True Type fonts, in black and over 4,000 other colors. High speed printing is complemented by incredibly long-life ribbons capable of printing more than 150,000 cable tags with no maintenance. MARKINGenius reproduces Clipart images, drawings and bitmaps down to very small dimensions. The MARKINGenius is easy to operate and requires no maintenance MARKINGenius thermal transfer printer is quick and easy to install on your PC via LTP or USB ports. Compact, quiet, clean and remarkably easy to operate, like any other standard ink jet or laser printer, it is ideally suited to use in the office, although its robust design makes it equally suitable to a workshop situation. Each ribbon can produce around 150,000 markers with full surface coverage, while the MARKINGenius state of the art economizer system can increase ribbon life significantly, depending on the actual coverage of the markers. This important feature of hardware management allows the user to calculate exactly the cost of each card of printed markers, simply by measuring the print coverage, therefore giving the user a true printing cost. The ribbon economizer system also optimizes printing times, since while printing speed is constant and independent of the complexity of graphics or the number of fonts used, the actual printing time for any project depends on the percentage coverage of the printed medium. Printing can be completed in as little as 9 seconds per card. For full-color printing with the CMY ribbon (cyan, magenta, yellow), the MARKINGenius three-color fusion process enables a very large number of colors to be obtained up to 4,092 and use of Windows NT, 2000 or XP is recommended to optimize color output, since the driver has many more set-up options compared to Windows 95/98. Three interchangeable support templates provided with MARKINGenius are simply slotted onto the carriage as appropriate to the material being printed. The MARKINGenius unlike its competitors on the market does not have any warming up time or positioning process, so once you turn on the MARKINGenius it is ready to use. The universal printer driver makes it possible to use different operating systems, however, the best results are obtained with NT, 2000 and XP, since the color and half-tone set up is more sophisticated, and the resolution is as high as 300x600 dpi. For monochrome printing there are no significant differences in output between the different operating systems. 8 MG-TPMF MG-TPMF tags are used for marking cables, conduit tubes, conductors and components. In stem format, tags are simply snapped off their stems and inserted into the appropriate holders.
