1 MAKE YOUR STUDIES COUNT THE CRANFIELD MSC IN MANAGEMENT AND CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY Transforming knowledge into action
2 COURSE PATRONS JOHN ELKINGTON John is a world authority on corporate responsibility and sustainable development. In 2009, an international survey of the Top 100 CSR leaders placed John fourth after Al Gore, Barack Obama and the late Anita Roddick. John currently serves on some 30 boards and advisory boards. JOHN EHRENFELD John has written extensively about sustainability, arguing that current misunderstandings of its meaning have led to ineffective industry and government programmes that occasionally make matters worse. Before retiring John was Director of the MIT Technology, Business and Environment programme. He is author of two books laying out his critique. ROBERT SMART Having completed his Masters at Cranfield, Robert s early career involved oil pollution analysis and monitoring, development of community recycling and coordination of a community-based environmental participative consultation. Robert now develops environmental policy and practices within local government, achieving a 22% carbon reduction over five years. VICKY BULLIVANT Vicky leads the global sustainability programme at Rolls-Royce. In a sustainability career that spans twenty years in both the public and private sectors she has pioneered and implemented many forward-thinking projects and partnerships that have resulted in long-lasting change.
